Asmon is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch and the owner of OTK as far as I know. He definitely knows about all of Vshojo just because they're relevant streamers on Twitch and possible collab partners or competition for OTK. He probably knows about holoEN too, but they're on a different platform, so I'm less sure about that. He asked his chat who the hottest vtuber is and most of them said Vei. He said in his opinion it's Nyanners, so he knows about her and he probably knows she's a catgirl (Asmon having a thing for catgirls is well known and his viewers shitpost about it quite often, that's probably why he chose her too).
