I think she had bigger goals/aspirations at the start but got absorbed into the Twitch indie blob of middling-panderingish success by pandering to the utter lowest common denominators and leeching off everyone possible.

Pretty much you can look at Bao's trajectory as proof positive that the twitch indie space sucks in people and brings out all the most cuntish asshole sides of them and turns them up to 11. Twitch relies on drama and stepping on each others' toes for attention because it does not have a discovery algo like Youtube, it literally makes you "network" around other streamers to get your name out and this encourages dickish clique culture as the literal gold standard. If you're interested in hearing about the drama and sheer amount of ass kissing and toxicity displayed by the larger streamers, and their cliques, you can look up some of the youtubers that were present and their videos on the situation.
