I wonder if Matsuri had big ambitions at first but later realized she could just have an easy job with the bare minimum effort, there are a lot of lazy vtubers but I feel like Matsuri had more ambition and was more creative, but she might have overreached and now she would rather take the easy way out

Kind of relate. I still keep tabs on her but when she was my #1 I'd just end up constantly concernfagging about her because of the way she kept undermining her own career and friendships. It made me happy to see her actually fix things up again for a change with Haachama so I have hope that she's improving in that regard.

Last year was definitely a dip in both ambition and motivation for her excluding a few good moments sprinkled here and there, but ever since christmas she's been on full force again and I'd say this year has been the best time to be a matsurisu than in a long time
Excluding the current ap*x tournament of course but that's just my personal bias against it so I won't touch too much upon it, though I would and have argued that ap*x and especially too much of it is a dip in the quality of her activities as a whole (mainly in 2021, not necessarily anymore, I think the occasional tournament is fine honestly)
