Im glad they have fun and I dont mind watching them, but I really have a tough time understanding why games like apex are popular. I’ve put in some time trying to get it down, and the game is either drop in hot, get a couple kills and then die and wait forever on matchmaking into a new match. Well, the game is different or close to it every time you play, where you decide to drop, what you get, who you fight, how the fights go, where the ring decides to move towards, and so on
The randomness yields to the games never getting quite boring while the consistency means that you're never truly at the mercy of luck as you get better. Besides that, apex feels good to play (in that movement and gunplay feels nice). It's not for everyone and I used to dislike battle royales but I tried it with a bunch of friends until it clicked enough that I can stomach playing it solo

It's not perfect system either since you either need to track who killed who so scores would be given accurately or just go with scoreboard kill count. They already use a team point system where people like Pakael, Gorilla, Aqua and others are of course worth more than a newbie like Suisei. The song didn't blow me away. Seems like a song catered towards a rave/dance atmosphere. I enjoyed the beginning verse, but her vocals gets drowned out for the rest of the song after that. The MV was spectacular. Definitely more interesting that the usual lyrics on the screen.

The people who consistently follow a person are but a small minority of the subscriber count. Everyone likes to rag on Youtube algorithm and whatnot but it's definitely responsible for a big chunk of views of her music videos simply by putting them on the autoplay.

Towa makes a lot of safe calls that, on paper, is the right call but the problem is that they are always overwhelmed because the other two can't hold their own near end game. Their strategy has to be based on fully supporting aqua. Towa plays super good support and is a gib master and Suisei is just...there. She needs to master a support that has synergy with the rest, especially in backing up aqua

I think they have a coach but similar to players, there's good coaches and great coaches. Not that I would know for sure since we have no idea who the coach is. I truly think that the winning strategy for them now is to not have Suisei grind her fps skills, yes it is useful but there's nothing more useful now than for them to use this time for her to master a support character that works well with Aqua. There's no showing of that synergy with valk and bloodhound. She just flies and when that's done.. that's it and with hound she had to reminded to scan several times. Personally, I think she is sharp enough to slay as a support with the right character. Mastering the when and where to use a skill is a different and faster grind compared to well, shooting.

Suisei did surprisingly well when she use her gun. The problem is she never has a chance to use her gun.
She needs to stop worrying about getting down during the push since it is inevitable with her shit skill level. Her attitude about survival over damage is bullshit when her life is only worth three points. Five more seconds of Aqua is worth more than half an hour of her. They need her presence in the fight.
However, most of the responsibility is on Aqua. She always makes an improvised reckless play that Suisei and Towa have no chance to follow. Results in everyone down before Suisei shoots a single bullet. I cannot blame Suisei for underperforming when her IGL put her in a 1v3 situation every game.
