In terms of design, I'd like to see a chuuba with two base models they can switch between which play off of each other. For example, a scruffy, plain, shy-looking engineer girl who built her own mech suit she can change into, where she adopts a confident persona and has a modified deep voice. She could use the girl model for the cute stuff (ASMR/zatsudan/karaoke/etc) and the mech model for the cool stuff (competitive gaming/battling other chuubas).

I have a loose concept for a non-humanoid loosely-shapeshifting entity, that changes forms depending on circumstances of the streams. For example, a game capture screen would be comprised of transparent crystals. Within it is a subtle light, tracking matched to my eyes (so it might zoom over to look at on-screen chat while I'm reading that, for example).

But I have a dead personality and no ambition, so even if I threw down enough money to get it off the ground, it wouldn't succeed.

It would work for all of one season, because after a year there's clearly going to be one "successful" resultant and they're going to snowball, or at least consistently win every season, because they're already proven to be the most entertaining of the bunch (whether or not they even get out of being a 2 view while doing so).

Wasn't there an agency that kind of worked on that premise? Like, they'd hire people and if you were a "success" after your contract you got to keep the model or something. It shut down a few months ago, because being a feeder group barely works even in established entertainment industries.

even the winner can lose next season if she peaks or reaches a saturation point. The losers will always have a good chance of winning as long they improve or do something entertaining before the others do it.

Kinda hard to do. Get it too on the nose and it a bit of a turn off, too little and you're just a gal in a mask. Would also need to kinda sell it with speech and mannerism. It's vague in an annoying way. Do you randomly sing what you are saying? Start going into thespian vernacular? A good theme is more then just a costume after all.
