Tell me about twitch. Can she set up streams in advance, like this? Because that's how I always wait for streams - open it in new tab and check for it once in a while to see how much time left until it begins.
Or it just starts when it starts? If so, that's fucking awful, I'll always be late for this shit. Timezones were bad enough, but then you add daylight saving on top and I have no fucking clue if the steam starts in an hour, in 10 minutes or an hour ago - only way to know is to refresh the page and it FUCKING SUCKS.

Like with scheduling, it just shouldn't be an issue.
Using a time converter and consciously checking the time(is it on yet) is additional effort, you should be able to put the scheduled stream in the background and forget about it until you hear "loading" music.
Opening and closing chat every time you want to look at it or leave a comment is additional effort, it should just be out of the way of actual content you're interested in, at the bottom, always avaliable.

Twitch has it but people don't use it, so it ends up never getting better, so you can't really have a waiting room per se. If you leave the channel page it should start but it's not a great system on their part.

The biggest is the copyright claim system. I'm getting random claims on video games with no reason. Even if I clip them, the copyright system will find another sound bite with the claim as well. Muv-Luv, Resident Evil are the biggest ones with claims but I've had several others too. It's insane and I'd rather just get muted.

Other reasons are.
Youtube not remembering streaming settings, everytime you have to make sure you enable the same settings and if you forget, WHOOPS DVR IS ON
YouTube viewer bug, you can't tell how many people are watching really.
YouTube chat delay. I feel I'm getting better chat interaction on Twitch in real time. With YouTube, sometimes I'd talk to chat and the topic would be behind. I'd have to also look between the YouTube site chat which is severely behind and the built in SLOBS chat, which was better.
Better community support, being able to raid others and being able to show viewers if they stick around other vtubers like Eira, etc. And likewise, other people could raid me and it reaches a bigger audience.

This is a move I've been considering for a while, unfortunately. YouTubes system isn't improving and they refuse to fix bugs already in it.

I've heard some complaints as well about Twitch not loading for them too, that I'm understanding as well. Which is why I'm trying to get VODs up on YouTube ASAP. I know people have said it improves with getting affiliate, so hopefully I can reach that soon.

It's super easy and she just needs 5 more days of streams to be become an affiliate. If she keeps those numbers, becoming a partner won't be a problem at all.
Transcoding is the biggest problem since it's a hit or miss.

I think key to collabs of anyone with anyone is to already be familiar with those people. I love Koopa, but even when she collabs with gorls, I can't really get into it. I enjoy her interactions with Nina, but that's because I learned to love Nina first. Africat and Nyaru are good people, I'm sure, just not for me. It's like that with every collab, male of female, indie or corporate.
I actually like Acrius and his streams, so I want Koopa to collab with him sometime. But I'm sure there's a lot of people who just don't care about a collab like that and call him a leecher or something. And that's understandable. You can't be forced to like someone by association, just from brief interaction.
