Gurame was, and still is, something magical. The girls may not be lovers. They may never be lovers. But that's okay. They're friends, inseparable friends. Best of friends. They've forged a relationship that'll last until the end of their lives, just by virtue of them somehow joining hte same idol agency at the same time.
And the best thing? We, the viewers, were there alongside them, as their relationship grew and blossomed.

So is it bittersweet that they don't collab as much anymore? Yes. Or that they seem to be doing their own thing and don't talk as much off-stream anymore? Yes.
But, that's just how human relationships work. People fall out of favour but still remain close, and with time, that spark is often rekindled. In perfect valied criticism with no shitposting, as a teamate i have my reasons to hate this ship.
It's nothing out of spite for Gura, she's great. But i hate how they have become bounded to each other since debut. No one that stays close Gura can grow on their own, it's her curse.
So i'm happy that Ame is free of Gura's shadow for a long time now, whenever Ame announces a collab i'm always like: "pls not gura pls not gura pls not gura".
