I'm kind of bored OP so I'll give you a serious answer. Nijisanji ID, in terms of talent (specifically singing) are equal to HoloID. So why did they fail but HoloID succeeded? A couple of reasons, some of it due to bad luck while most is the fault of the livers and the management itself
>Nijisanji not becoming viral in the west unlike Hololive
Not the companies fault but regardless, this was one of the main reasons why they failed. The Indo sphere in 2020, as open to weaboo shit as it was back then, was still not a market that was ready to embrace vtubers. They needed interest from either the JP side or NA side to actually grow which brings me to another reason why they failed
>Hana self sabotaging
To be clear, Hana is not a person who is cut out to lead shit. She's someone who'd rather chill with chat and be left in her corner of Nijisanji. Unfortunately for her, she was one of the few nijisanji livers who spoke good english which ultimately led to the western audience gravitating to her. It's really ironic in a sense that Nijisanji's most fluent english speaker at the time was a menhera introvert while Hololive's most fluent English speaker (Coco) was a brash extrovert at least from the outside. At a time when Nijisanji needed Hana to be more like Coco, she couldn't because she wasn't Coco, she was Hana.
>Incorrect strategy for expanding their audience
I know most of the SEAnigs here (including me) will agree when I say that SEA has an obsession with foreign opinions. You havent really made it until you become famous overseas. NijiID tried to appeal to ther local market first. HoloID did the same initially but when HoloEN introduced a new audience to Hololive which coincidentally was followed by PekoMoon, HoloID started appealing to those demos which caused their first real growth since the branch was established, at least until their management decided to focus locally. And after HoloFes happened and once the Indos saw that HoloID was being praised by their foreign counterparts, a wave of patriotic pride ultimately raised their profile locally, which helps me piggyback to my 3rd point
>Niji ID does not have an actual "Leader" or "Star" figure
When HoloID started to pivot to their local audience this caused a sizable drop in their numbers at the start. The whole branch could have easily withered away to obscurity but there was one thing that stopped it or at least slowed it down, Moona's karaokes. Moona' Karaokes, prior to ID3 was one of the biggest streams in the ID vtuber sphere. It basically kept the overseas audience aware of ID's existence long enough until this year's HoloFes that finally got everyone to acknowledge the branch fully. NijiID does not have that leader figure. They're all just a bunch of friends who stream for fun which is actually bad because they ultimately started to become more and more complacent with the type of content that they did. Most of them probably would've just kept doing whatever it was that they were doing until the heat death of the universe if not for the merger being announced. And lastly
>They never escaped their side branch stigma
Maybe this would've changed if Hana got her 3D but regardless, the fact is that NijiID was just that one side-branch that no one really paid attention to. Like a distant cousin that you'd sometimes see in family reunions.
It's unfortunate because Ciska and Zea really deserve to have a bigger platform than what they currently have. Zea to me deserves to have her Moona, or Risu moment too. But alas, shit happens

>ID
that’s your answer

>> No.21747905

Why can't you come up with a different topic for once?

>> No.21748258

They got too comfortable with what little they had appealing to a local audience only, but the merge is causing a lot of them to get off their asses and put some actual work so give them at least two months before declaring them dead

>>21743547

1) There is too many to focus on

2) They are the single largest contributor to the vtubing industry's oversaturation prior to the west being involved.

3) Lack of a quality standard of chubba's appearance from the too simple to the way too complicated designs

4) Lack of support for branches that are not in Japan or EN. It's Korean branch soon to be gone or at least rumored to be.

5) Immense lack of a presence outside of Japan as they are no were near as mainstream as hololive therefore while they are still making money as a whole with their hundreds of talents.

None of their talents save for a tiny handful are actually that successful or standouts to the mainstream crowd.

6) A lot of them are often hard to find for the average new vtuber fan and would often have to rely on others to actually know where they can find any chubbas in that company that they may like.

Their EN branch slowly becoming the exception to this.
