These auditions really feel bad man. If they have secret filters for numbers, they should just be honest about it so we don't waste our time.
It hurts to put hours of effort into a video and thoughtful responses only to literally see they close it after two seconds. Two seconds is all their applicants come down to, if you don't slap them with a hook in those two seconds you're in the trash. Even the most entertaining streamer in the world might have a boring two second intro, hell, most of them do in fact because they build the jokes up.

Look, of course it helps, but they're not particulary looking for it either. It's a matter of fact that Cover employs guys with very generic voices. Annoyingly average even. It's usually the mix of qualities that gets you a foot into the door.

Yeah, anyone with actual performance experience understands this. I've hosted and performed in shows for over 100+ people in live audiences in person, not over streams. If I can't take some random nobody company that is asking ME to give THEM my MARKET RESEARCH ANALYSIS for my audience saying 'oops teehee you don't fit' then I don't deserve to take myself seriously as an artist.
It's just that VTubing, specifically is streaming talent contracts that are trying to hoodwink NEETs who have no fucking clue what any industry is like.
