Its a weird situation since we rarely see streams fall that short of the waiting room after the viewership cull when the stream starts. I'm more comfortable calling it a 90k stream though since that is the standard we have been using since the beginning. You usually see crazy waiting rooms that don't come close to being met as well with Among Us collabs since the tab out cull doesn't happen with waiting rooms. Yet those waitings rooms are never considered the peak. Don't know why this one would be.

4) In the four days period between October 18 2020 and October 21 2020 Hololive beat their own company record three times, with Miko 3D return lasting as Hololive highest attended stream until Gura new outfit in 2021
5) Marine got herself a back to back 100k+ streams with her second costume reveal being immedately followed by her bday live. She's the holder of the most 100k streams on Hololive, and tied with Maimoto as the streamer channel with the most streams on that mark between both companies
6) The week of HoloX debut (one that was announced 9 hours prior the first stream) went to have six streams over 100k with all of them being the top 5 most attended debuts between both companies
7) First few days of May 2021 were a magnificent period for Hololive, with four 100k+ streams in that "fashion week" plus Aqua 100k+ sololive
8) 17 out of the 24 highest attended Nijisanji streams were either in August or December
9) Koshien 2021 went to cap a spectacular August for Nijisanji, with Kuzuha APEX collab getting 144k and Koshien fetching that spectacular 200k+, a high mark that would be an all time record if not for...

Take a look at yesterday's or most days rankings.
Take a look at graph anon's graphs that show consntant recline for both their male and female streamers.
Take a look at their new debuts, Selejo, Edengumi, the VTA girls and their numbers.

There isn't even a single older streamer that is not reclining and not a single new debut that doesn't stream for like 500-1500 viewers.
With no successful new blood coming in and with their old members on the reclining path, they have to do something.

Vestia is getting the Chloe effect while Kobo is getting the Laplus effect. Despite how talented Kobo is, she 100% is getting preferential treatment for being cute.
