In terms of religion (which seems to be the guiding principle of both /meat/ and /morig/), I think the two main sticking points would probably be:
1) /morig/ religion seems to believe in some kind of finality (the final death, and that death is final, as mentioned by >>21151067), while /meat/ religion is all about the unending (or at least should be unending) cycle of life, which can be seen as a form of reincarnation (one without the sense of self being intact in the process, so probably more Indian than Chinese?). For orthodox /meat/, death is just another step in the cycle.
2) /meat/ also sees suffering as an integral part of the cycle of life, and it should be experienced (or made to experience) fully, something that /morig/ religion lacks.
3) /morig/'s belief in a predetermined time to die likely differs from that of /meat/. At least, /meat/ sees that being sacrificed as a proper way to end one's life (this life, at least), which /morig/ definitely doesn't agree with.
4) The whole stagnant immortal gods and god-eating thing.
That said, /meat/ and /morig/ does have an interesting amount of overlapping ideas, both religious and technological. It's rather interesting ngl.

>>21159371
I don't think /meat/ has particular thoughts on Sana, other than that she seems to be part of the holo pantheon which /meat/ see as the symbol of immortal stagnation. OOCly, holocouncil's still sufficiently new that I think /meat/ would consider them still not outliving their supposed time yet, but I don't know how that translates to this setting. /meat/'s view on the gods do not necessarily reflect how /meat/ as a country interact with their followers, though.

>> No.21160344

>>21160227
Well, if /inf/ (and /risu/ to a lesser extent) can be friends with both /morig/ and /meat/, I don't see why /nasa/ can't. Plus, just because we want to eat your gods eventually doesn't mean we have to be a cunt to you! Granted, that feeling is often not mutual, and many of the more diplomatic /meat/head probably have learnt to not bring that up unless prompted.

>> No.21163359

>>21163171
Honestly, I kinda plan on winging in once we get there, since I'm not sure how much I can differentiate the different biomes with a visual representation from space. I plan to start with creating a black/white heatmap for each of those:
Desert
Temperate
Tropical
Cold
And then covering the land with the relevant land shader, with automatic transitions.
And if that works well I would extend the number of biome materials to have one for each biome here:
https://rentry.org/zo5ke
At least the ones I can differentiate from the others.
I should probably start gathering references.

>> No.21163450

>>21163359
Alright, I'll see what I can do in the following days. Probably won't be as extensive as the analysis, and part of me thinks automatic transition might actually be better than mapping the margins manually (since many biomes are more like transitional zones between other biomes, like savannah being a transition between tropical forest and desert/plain).

>> No.21163877

>>21163450
Nice, that would be a big help. I'll try to work out those biome materials while drawanon finishes the new map.
And damn, I'm reminded of how cool the weather analysis is. I wonder how much the 15 degree shift changes it.

>> No.21163941

>>21163877
The most significant change would be near the top and bottom of the map, although the majority of difference would likely be due to me not being the original analyser, and we might disagree on how much different factors affect the overall climate (see the discussion about /nasfaqg/ climate being subtropical or Mediterranean before for reference, as well as how IRL Iceland's climate maps rarely agree with each other).

>> No.21164098

>>21163941
I'm no climatologist, but I imagine it doesn't help that even if the geography doesn't change significantly the weather can change a fair bit, what with ice ages and such. And we are only working off of geography.

WIP biome map, it should be noted that it's NOT meant to reflect the actual climate closely, but more for globe mapping purposes.
/inf/ is left empty since I think they want a specific biome/climate distribution, and the island will be moved (in that general area) to accompany that. Can anyone from /inf/ confirm? As for the small corpro continent, I'm admittedly a bit stuck. I think it'll probably be divided between soubtropical monsoon, steppe and desert, but I'll have to think about it more before committing. For the rest:
>Blue: Tropical rainforest, lush green. Mostly evergreen but can be more seasonal due to effects of monsoon/altitude.
>Light Blue: Savannah area of significant size. It should be noted that there will be strips of savannah between rainforest and desert as transitional zones. The ones on the map are simply ones that are larger than usual due to local conditions.
>Red: Hot arid environment. Might have significant transitional grassland between it and other biomes.
>Green: Subtropical/temperate forest, slightly less lush green than tropical rainforest and usually be subjected to seasonal effect. Be noted that the difference between subtropical forest and rainforest can be ambiguous, in particular due to monsoonal effect in eastern holo and niji continent, and how well the local environment retains water during dry season. There might be significant deforestation for agriculture.
>Yellow: Mediterranean biome, dominated by shrubs and tend to look more yellow-green from space.
>Light purple: warm continental biome, usually a mix between forests and steppe.
>Deep purple: cold continental biome, usually forested in dark green boreal forest/taiga. Elevations will usually lead to grassland due to the lower tree line.
>Dark red (only in holo continent around /haachama/): Cold desert caused by rain-shadow effect, think Taklamakan.
>Grey: Tundra.
>White: Icecap, the ones on the terran map overrides it, as I might have accidentally painted some over (mostly /rrat/). Be noted that there is a spot of it on /morig/ due to the elevation and chuubanite effect of Mt. Mori and its Chill Zone.
It's not an accurate reflect of climate zone due to it not matching biome zones perfectly. There might be significant local differences, so a closer analysis will be needed for countries that want a more comprehensive picture. Feel free to tell me if I screwed it up.

>1) Should /wst/ be moved to /pyon/'s previous location, as per suggestion and justification in >>20619938 (Dead) (Dead)?
Yes. I don't see the reason why not, justification for it is clear.
>2) How should the northern pole of the planet be like? Proposals and explanations are in >>20525386 (Dead) (Dead) and picrel.
D. The northern route gives sea access to northern nations, while not being economically competitive in terms of costs with other trade routes. There isn't anything for anyone to lose in this option.
>3) In a situation where a proposal has an abstaining percentage higher than 50%, it has been decided that said proposal will be set to be revoted on. Should be revote happen immediately in the next round of voting, or at a later date?
Next round. No reason to delay, with this high rate of abstaining it might potentially mean that people want to discuss it at a later date, so maybe include "vote later" as the third option in this one case, for the revote.
>4) Should there be a unified name for the planet across all nations?
Yes. Just for consistency, but each nation can have their own names for the planet/regions that exist alongside the "unified" name.

>> No.21170540

>>21169976
It's less an issue of climate and more of astrophysics, because unless the two moons orbit the planet at a significantly different radius, it basically becomes a three-body problem. Essentially, unless the smaller moon is significantly smaller than the bigger moon (about 100 times is the ballpark), the system won't be very stable and one of the bodies will eventually get ejected or crash into the other. If we assume our planet and major moon is the same mass as their RL counterpart, the smaller moon will be about the size of Miranda (which is also about the size where space stuff start becoming round-ish due to their own gravity). If we go by this model, the smaller moon will be about 1/6 the size of the bigger moon (in angular size), so probably smaller than your pinky nail at arm's length.

If someone cares solely about profit they'll backstab you the first chance it becomes profitable. They'll take your money, scam you in 5 different ways, and then move for the long-term deal with your competitor who offered them higher rates. Having "soul" is what would make them trustworthy since they'd honor agreements based on personal integrity and self-forged rules - they wouldn't enter an agreement if it didn't suit them, again, out of integrity.

/nasfaqg/ politics and society mostly references the thread and translates it and the game. There is absolutely no way to enforce anything in player-to-player interaction in the stock exchange (which spawns value out of nowhere). We have flesh-regenerating theocracy and a nut-oriented tribe, give us a little leeway in terms of fantasy politics here.

>>21169412
The goal at large is still profit. The question is how you get there - any libertarian system without a strong ethical core in participating individuals would straight-up collapse into an uncompetitive monopoly and oligarchy, since straight-up assassinating competition would be a choice that'd protect your profits.

It's not about "worldwide utopia" it's literally "hmm, maybe I shouldn't use my private army to storm my competitor's mansion and illegitimately take his entire life's work on my own, thus establishing a monopoly and squeezing the prices for maximum profit" which would happen immediately in any anarcho-capitalist system. NAP is a meme, but there's a reason why even ancaps recognize it's needed. Similarly, here the whole system relies on ethical responsibility, honor, and integrity of individuals (especially on top).

The way I saw it and translated game mechanics is sort of with how Nietzsche viewed self-improvement and self-discovery: at the end of the day, you forge rules for yourself.

>>21169457
It still largely is. You just (probably) won't get shanked and robbed on the street by the guy who controls the town just because he can get away with it (and still profit).

Besides, there are still soulless traders out there, who'd do anything for profit.

there are a lot of branches of ancap philosophy, so i don't blame you for not knowing about the countless treatises on how to deal with all of those problems solely through free market interactions, but it is somewhat weird that you are making an ancap system despite not knowing what the NAP is, or what it's supposed to be for. a system that relies on having trust in the morality of others is doomed to fail. i'll stop now, i guess, unless you want to know more.

As I said, /nasfaqg/'s political and economic system just mimics the thread. There's a plenty of unfeasible/fantasy politics in this thread that either wouldn't last in real life or would fail quickly. You're a young priestess from /meat/.
Adventuring with a party in the far North. Your team consists of an admiral from the island of the clock people, a marksman from the land of armsmiths just south of your homeland, and a mage from the Phoenix Mountains.

Your mission is simple enough; travel North West. Far far North West. Rrats on the grapevine from the Northeners' lips mention a magical castle that fell from the sky. With mages in glass helmets with companion wolves of wheat. You chuckled at the idea at first but after all the wonders you have seen you learnt to accept the world the way it is; wonders at every corner.

You are so far from home, you don't recognise anything your eyes have lain. The plants and animals are unlike anything you could ever imagined. Deers with horns larger than a canoe, flying crocodiles that breathe fire, a cow covered in thick fluffy fur, and snakes with human hands!

Your party had met plenty of resistance from foes, both beasts and intelligent. But they all have one thing in common: None of them have ever heard of or known about your people nor your customs. It is quite a revelation and places things into perspective to be so faraway that your kin are considered myths and rrats. Although, some of the rrats were so obscenely outrageous you thought they were insulting. While you know of the intelligence chapter of the clergy whose purpose is spinning web of lies of your people in faraway lands, these rrats are so outlandish compared to the usual. Such as claiming your people to be man-eating spiders that worship a Moon god. At least the man-eating part was spot-on.

Your team came to a halt. The admiral gave a signal to stay on guard. The marksman took out her rifle and pull the lever. Enemies are close. Out of the bushes and the trees, came down hooded figures. Men of lanky build, taller than a hut, in black and green uniforms. Their faces of hair and puffy white feathers. Beaks clicking as they talk. 'Yuyamuya', the locals called them. Worshippers of a long dead deity. One which you had the opportunity to attend her deiphage ceremony. You recognise them as a race from the Ni-Jiya continent. Why are they up here in the far north of Holovia? Far from their home continent?

The leader of the Yuyamuya posse drew his weapons. A matchlock and a sword. The Phoenix mage gasped at the sight of the sword. Crafted out of a Vtubium alloy of a dead goddess. Such a weapon would have lost its powers. The tall figure clicks his beak. The mage was able to translate the avian lexicon. "After their goddess died, they were cast out. Their people shunned. They migrated north, from the Southern Continent of Ni-Jiya. All the way here, in the forest of the Hoomen. They felt at home here, and it strengthened them." Their motive here is simple. Power. They sensed immense power coming from the Admiral. The will kill to get it.

With a wave of his sword, the Kronie charged against the avianoid. Their blades clashed and insults exchanged. The marksman stood her ground and start shooting at the moving flock. Missing her shots as they cast a blinding spell in her eyes. The mage is occupied in dealing with two combatants.

Leaving you alone with one. The creature towers above you. His beak rattles as he points his matchlock at you. A display of intimidation. However, you smile. These godless bandits are lost as they cling on to a past they cannot reclaim. You've seen your people celebrate the death of their goddess. Now it's your turn to clean up loose ends. Cleave away the last remaining heathens. Today, you will be having poultry for dinner.

You focus your mind and tighten your grip on your staff. Liquid vitubium flows through it, chuubanyl that channels the energy of your patron deity, the abhorrent and eldritch Dentata. You swing your staff down and erupt a mass of spiked vines and fleshy branches from the ground. Snaring and trapping the avianoid. Raising your hand, your finger dances. Like a marionette, the vines move with your fingers. Conducting the writhing mass of flesh and plant, you direct vines to pierce through his orifices, entangle and snare all over his torso. With one last gesture, you order the vines to erect its talons, and unwind. Eviscerating the birdman from the inside-out. Severing into multiple chunks of body parts and organs.

The battle halted as everyone saw your handiwork. With a cry, the leader of the bandit orders a retreat. The battle ended just as you were about to have fun.
Too bad. But at least, you have dinner.

fun story, but that ability would definitely be unbalanced. maybe we could think of a few ways to make it more balanced in the future. honestly, it might be better for the tendrils to come from your body, as opposed to from the ground itself, with an added requirement that you lose some of your biomass in doing so. imagine temporarily converting all your bodily organs, including your heart and lungs, into a tentacle that can reach out and impale your targets and suck the meat and nutrients out of them, allowing them to take the place of your internal organs while you slowly recover from the otherwise fatal wounds you've just inflicted upon yourself. so accuracy and damage would be the balancing factors here. you don't have enough accuracy with it to put yourself back together, nor do you have the control to be able to control internal systems like blood flow or anything, so the more of it you use, the more you need to be certain that it will hit your target, because you wont be able to survive without a host to parasitize off of while you recover. more details on how to balance it might be necessary, as i'm sure there are some people who would say the mere existence of magic would be unbalanced, and we should all keep magic at a level that is firmly inferior to science in every way.

when it comes to balancing, I do agree that it might be better if the veins come from the priestess instead of the ground (plant humanoid isn't a new thing in this world after all), although I think we can strike a balance between them. One idea I have is that the meaty veins actually do come from the priestess, just that they burrow under the ground before emerging. This should allow her to anchor herself into the ground and avoid getting thrown around by her own moves otherwise.
Perhaps clergy dedicated to Comma will have undergone some kind of transformation that turns them into a mobile plant masquerading as humans (just like Comma), and the veins can be unfolded for combat purposes like what >>21179326 said. Not too sure about them being able to suck blood and nutrients, but having veiny limbs itself is a pretty nice combat advantage. That said, they would be noticeably more fragile than flesh-and-bone limbs, so doing that without care can easily turn the priestess into salad, but hey, maybe that's where the thrills are.
Based on the description in the writing, we can probably say that expanding like that takes a lot of energy and chuubanite effect, so afterwards the priestess will have to eat a lot to replenish the spent energy. She would likely need to consume chuubanite-enriched food (preferably meat) to keep it at a functional level too.

>>21179449
To be fair, that's the norm for war in general. Blood and guts everywhere. Nowadays, blades, arrows and rocks just get replaced by guns, bombs and cannons. /meat/ doesn't like spilling blood and gore everywhere - it would be a waste after all - but in the heat of combat, that's pretty much unavoidable.

i say it should be a combination of mai-chan's blessing, and /rose/ transformation, plus a more specialized form of /meat/ chuubanite. having them suck blood and nutrients out of their host isn't by any means the biggest concern for balancing, especially since it gives us the opportunity to say that without that blood and nutrients, the use of this ability would be fatal. the tendrils being weak makes sense, but more from the fact that it's flexible enough to move around, and not for any other reason. i figure it would be plant like, and the difference between wood and a leaf is density. with that said, F=MA why would they need to put in the effort to burrow through a bunch of, at best, loose dirt to root themselves to the ground if the mass of their tendrils is so low? acceleration that gives it the force necessary to go through the ground is not easy to come by. honestly, the only reason you have for keeping the "comes out of the ground" idea is because of the inspiration of the ability, which isn't even from the chuuba herself. and there isn't much point in eating if your stomach was torn to shreds but having chuubanite infused blood pumped into your veins while you recover could definitely help and having a host who has a stomach that you could parasitize off of would also help.

I agree but calling it /KFP/ felt a lot more natural than calling it /Takanashi Kiara/. the main reason I didn't call the split by its actual name is because having a country literally be the leaders name full name just didn't sit right with me. For example imagine how weird it would be if the UK was marked on maps as Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor.

Regardless, I'm sure there's some sort of solution. Maybe have the country be named the "Takanashi Kaisereich" with Takanashi Kiara in brackets below it or something?

>why would they need to put in the effort to burrow through a bunch of, at best, loose dirt to root themselves to the ground if the mass of their tendrils is so low?
Because the amount of force they pull is probably quite significant, so without a force to counteract them, the pulling will just pull the vein towards the entwined target instead of pulling them apart. In this case, the force is provided by roots beneath the ground.
I agree that simply burrowing through the ground might not be sufficient, so I propose that not all veins that dig into the ground emerge for the attack, with some serving as roots instead. Assuming they fan out beneath the soil, they could reasonably provide enough counterbalance to exert the force needed. It might not be enough to tear limbs off joints directly (it's hard to find concrete figures on how much force is needed), but maybe cutting done inside the body has severed the harder tissues already.
>honestly, the only reason you have for keeping the "comes out of the ground" idea is because of the inspiration of the ability
Yes, since my point is to try justifying what happens in the story while staying within the bounds of plausibility in this setting, so that it could be considered canon-ish.
>which isn't even from the chuuba herself

the force to tear limbs off isn't as much as the force required to go through most forms of ground, especially when you pierce it in multiple places, rooting from the ground wouldn't provide enough leverage to justify the act. saying that we would need even more rooting solves nothing, and only makes the problem of balance even worse, unless you count the fact that you have even less flesh to attack your enemy with as a sufficient counterbalance to the kind of force that could go through the ground and out so fast. i think we should probably ditch the need to burrow through the ground entirely. it isn't an important aspect of it, especially since we could say it merely travels above the ground instead of going through it so no energy is wasted while traveling, and it can go upwards faster by pushing off the floor. the fact that the ability isn't from the chuuba herself is why we shouldn't follow it as canon. if there was a clear method that it's supposed to follow, we can use a weakened form of that as our ability, and it would make sense to keep it as close as possible to the original. no justification for something unrelated. plus, sucking blood out of the target is kind of agiven when you have open flesh wrapping around and piercing another target with blood pumping all about. the blood is going to mix either way, but now there is a reason for it to do so. certainly, it isn't as much of a stretch as saying it can go through the ground as though it were going through water.

I'm pretty sure the veins have some kind of skin to keep its flesh and blood inside, else it would be constantly bleeding by definition.

>> No.21193992

>>21193150
you aren't understanding the first point. if there is canon to follow, then follow the canon, else it is free form. it is not a contradiction to say you shouldn't follow the canon when there is no canon, even if you should when there is. the chuuba who this ability is supposed to represent is not having her canon respected, whereas the canon of something entirely unrelated is, the fact that it is not her canon means it isn't canon worth following, and therefore is free form. we do not need to stick to that interpretation because ther is nothing attaching that interpretation to this chuuba any more than any other interpretation. as for the skin, imagine digging through solid ground with something supposedly weaker than meat and bones, keeping all the blood inside with a few layers of skin, and coming out completely unscratched. next you'll say the skin is some kind of impossibilium or something like that which is completely impervious to damage from burrowing through the ground yet is somehow capable of getting cut by sharp weapons. why are you so attached to the idea of having it burrow? why are all of your suggestions of how to balance it just you making it even more overpowered? the reason it would need to suck blood out of it's host is because it would be constantly bleeding, that's the point. i am suggesting that it should be an overpowered ability that allows the user to tear their body into multiple controllable tendrils that can attack and parasitize off of a host, but they require at least one host to use it, or else they will surely die. there is a power, but it is balanced with an equal or greater cost. that is what i mean when i say balancing. it's just a suggestion, but as it is now i think the idea is way too overpowered for it to fit in this setting. maybe we should discuss this more back at our thread.

"We have lift of!"

/nasa/ Principal's Log:

/nasa/ Station was airborne for about forty-five minutes. The station flew as high as 20 kilometers off of the ground. While falling the station flipped itself upright to where the nose of the station points towards the sky. Most of the time in air was spent guiding the station's fall about 10 kilometers away from the crater. The station lands on its feet. It almost tipped over from the wind but the steering rockets were strong enough to keep the station stable. Once stable the station begins drilling its anchors into the earth. Once the anchors are set the station unfolds its base to cover the feet. The cylinder shaped station then begins to "unfold" into a multi-layered structure with what looks like cities on plates. The plates then anchor themselves with towers around the base of the station. It seems all of the buildings have unfolded in tact. Assessment of damages internally still need to be done. Nevertheless the station bounce is successful.

/nasa/ is going to spend the rest of the day on holiday celebrating the success of the launch. No business will be conducted today. Tonight we party. We understand tomorrow will be a busy day setting up the facilities in the station to run optimally. For now it is time to enjoy our new era of optimism.

I think as interesting it would be for /nasa/ to trade excess resources I think what /nasa/ needs to do is build facilities for itself. First priority is to tame or buy beasts of burden. We have supplies to get started, but we need to transport supplies to key locations. Since we're SoL on vehicles /nasa/ is going to need horses and oxen. Alternatively we can bother /rbc/ for use of their golems but this might be too much work for them. Tamed oxen would be in high demand.

Which is why I was thrown off when I was told we had a port on eastern coast, because the only two good areas are either one where a risu settlement was already placed, or the purple circle, which doesn't have a clear path to the ∞ port city.

So we're on the same page do you want us to.

Alright
Since youre using Indo, here are some grammar rules for austronesian based languages.
>Adjectives
Unlike indo-euros, where Adjective is before Noun, in Malayics it's Adjective after Noun
For example:
Big = Besar
Tree = Pokok
It will be 'pokok besar'
Just switch arrangements.
Bird red. Man fiery. Rain heavy.
>Repetitions
Probably the one rule seen as a joke by indo-euros kek. Austronesian languages love repetition. From Malagasy all the way to Hawaii.
Repetition shows two meanings, pluralness or creating a new meaning
Orang = people
Orang-orang = every person/everyone
Orang-orang = scarecrow
Satu = One
Satu-satu = Specifically
>Prefixes
Prefixes are everything in Malayics. It can change meanings related to the root word. Some of the prefixes also show context (party A to party B, party A or party B, etc)
Ajar = teach
Pengajar = teacher
Pelajar = student
Mengajar = teaching
Terajar = taught, already taught
Diajar = taught by, taught from
Mempelajari = to be a student of

I appreciate it, but if we're having sister cities constructed by /∞/ on Risu land, I feel the best names for them would be Ceres and Demeter.

I was originally going to name the single port city Cernunnos, but because we have two now. I'd figure Ceres and Demeter would be the best fitting given their deities of nature, and equivalents to each other in Greek and Roman myth.
How does Greek and Romans play into this world you might ask?

Having it be built in a environment that isn't too destructive to said roads usually helps, since it reduces the cost for maintenance. Ideally, the road should also be built around existing traffic to make use of the trade already around, but that isn't strictly necessary (as it seems /inf/ is interested in building the two cities from scratch, and the business can certainly draw locals in). I would say the southern route is better due to the environmental factor (and being closer to /mep/), although I guess islanders like /inf/ probably is not too unused to heavy rain (maybe not monsoon-level but still). Given that risuners generally live on trees, building a new city in the more sparse southwest probably can help stimulate the economy there as well.

If the ports see a decent amount of trade (which they should do if the project ends up not a failure), then they *will* become cities even if they were originally meant to be pure port facilities. Loading and unloading can take a while, after all, and ships and crew will need their maintenance, resupply and R&R, so people will naturally set up shops nearby to provide them to make a profit, and it's so much easier to do that when you live just nearby (especially before the time of automobiles).

I think odds are /inf/'s original city plans should include some commercial and residential buildings (the workers and sailors will need to eat and sleep somewhere), which given enough time with become the "downtown" of the ports, where the surrounding settlements grow in a more organic (if less prestigious) manner.

Oh, definitely. When in space, we do have a strict reproduction program, due to our space station having a hard limit on occupants when flying, but we can still masturbate or have sex as much as we want, protection is just mandatory. When the station makes landfall and opens up, the program is loosened up since we can house as much as 5x as many adult Sanallites. The grand directive does prohibit reproduction with natives though, as we are nothing more than brief visitors usually. It could introduce mutations to the species that could lead to their eventual downfall.

Its a dilemma. On one hand the genetic material means Sanalites will have a better time surviving on this planet. On the other hand the Prime Directive doesn't consider permanent settlements on worlds. Permanent settlements are minimum 99 year bases. As after 99 years you have built too much stuff to take with you on the station. Which means you already altered the planet.

We're stuck here for 99 years because we have to rebuild infrastructure to repair the station. Which means the Prime Directive is in question on whether or not /nasa/ will have to declare a new home world or not. We're still keeping tech to ourselves. However cross-breeding with natives may become inevitable in 20-30 years time. And if there's more cross bred natives than /nasa/ inhabitants then they will easily take over the station for themselves. Which would make us a rogue station to homeworld. It really depends how cut-off /nasa/ is to homeworld in the other dimension. If we're truly alone then species mixing could have very little confidence because of the new homeworld.

Not trying to bring certain real world politics in. This is all context for the station and its small population.

>> No.21267444

>>21266887
Adding to this many Gen-0 Sanalites have already left /nasa/ permanently to settle in other territories with other oshis. Since they abandoned Sana they do not care to follow the prime directive anymore. These rogue Sanalites might have already sold off blueprints of space age technology already. Without a GPS we'll have to track down the rogues the old fashioned way. And even then they're under protection of other states. Which means if we hunt them and get caught then /nasa/ has effectively declared war. So Prime Directive is starting to make less sense as it is directly putting our nation in conflict. Its a good ruleset for visiting worlds. Not so much for settling them.

OGsuner
Ok so now that im back home and settled up i can process all of this. To my understanding /inf/ wants to build a road. At the end of each road will be a port built by /inf/.
As of right now the only port in /risu/ is silvanus which is only used for small fishing boats. Once /inf/ came we made our deal
Im going to propose that the road be somewhere near its original position. Southern of the temple of risu and close to /mep/.
Also going to propose /inf/ will be allowed to make ports on each end of the roads. Of course there can be housing nearby which would eventually form a settlement/city
Ive had all day to think about this and just want to clear up any miscommunication. Ill clarify the things that fucked me up.
The map with the blue red and purple circles were what really got me since it was to my understanding the road would be in the southern portion of risu.
I hadnt thought of /inf/ going to silvanus or any parts of risu just yet and for some reason assumed they would just make basecamp on the beach.
With the road completed and a port on each side there will be silvanus which is owned by risu and then the 2 /inf/ sister cities/ports on each side totaling risu ports up to 3.
I saw the picture they drew of silvanus and that shit looks fucking cool. So i like the idea of risuners getting a port upgrade from what they already had to accomodate bigger boats.
Ill do lore later on each major settlement but for now silvanus is the only settlement thats built on the beach and is visible from the seas. They utilize fishing far more than anyone else in risu.
My final declaration is going with the purple line in the picture posted /here/. That way it will be possible to make that divert into /mep/ easier and is a good enough distance away from the temple.
Ill be here all day and tomorrows my day off. Ill be happy to answer any questions

F0R-K, CR01-SS4NT and B4-GUET-TE numbers are also higher than in the log because we had some before we got to the vault.
