Maybe this is a /vt/ thing, but Crunchyroll "mattering" is something that most of 4chan does not believe at all. Don't get me wrong, Cover (and NJSJ) have advantages over VShojo in that they're Japanese based companies who have easier access to other Japanese companies. So Kadokawa is a big one, for sure, and it was a smart move for Cover to use Trash Taste in this way. But, does that benefit EN at all? They used Calli for that, but I feel JP would benefit from a Kadokawa negotiation more.
