I actually felt this way when IRyS and Council were announced, because at that point I was watching Myth as a DD with Kiara as main, and ID2 with Reine and Ollie and occasionally Anya.
EN2&IRyS gave me context though, that it doesn't matter how many gens Cover releases, I'm already at my maximum time commitment to this hobby. Player animations are created with pvp in mind so they have to be somewhat readable and make sense even if they are used by an actual person who tries to outsmart you. So on NPCs they are rather easily dodgeable with some "gamer sense" - which Kiara has as long as she is not second guessing herself.
Meanwhile monster animations are meant to fuck you up despite being used by a braindead AI. That's why she struggled so much with the spider: similar to the fucking Boreal Knights from DS3 its attack range is higher than it should be with its weapon length because it contorts its body in wierd ways while it also has attack chains that are way, way too long because a player would run out of stamina a quarter through all of these room wide swings.
Kiara seems to be an intuition gamer so the things From Software put in to catch these kind of gamers get her perfectly just like Margit's delayed animations did time and again.
