I saw this post about Kiara yesterday that pissed me off. >>20810876 But the thread died before I could respond to it.

I feel like a lot of people are finally realizing Kiara is pretty great, but they still refuse to admit that the narratives about her from back then were false. So they make these claims about how she used to have "legitimate problems" when the fact is that she was always great. That way they can have their cake and eat it too, they can like her now without having to face the guilt of admitting that they spent months hating her for no reason.

Kiara is self referential in collabs because thats how she relates to her partner and directs the flow of conversation. That and she's just that easy to talk to. Its how we learned tidbits about Mori and the others(I.e doing ballet). Her blatantly obvious insecurities and lack of confidence in her own talents show she will always put her genmates above herself. She does that with all of them.

Yeah, unfortunately that's a tough battle to win. She wasn't perfect or anything, but a portion of /vt/ joined in on the hate without good reason. Then once they realized Kiara wasn't as bad as they thought, decided to save face by pretending that the problems she had were much bigger than they were.
It's a common thing in psychology. I have always seen both Kiara's virtues and her potential, right from when I started watching her in 2020. So I was always surprised people were acting like the positive traits she always had came out of nowhere
