I got into the rabbit hole because of her ride on time singing and she was pretty good at doing kino karaoke for a year at least but she's on the decline with those recently so I lost interest and went to other chubas that had consistent good karaoke. Also she releases original music like once a year.

>I got into this hobby by Gura, and I liked her a lot, but as I started to branch out and try more vtubers I found my interest in her dropping rapidly. I find it hard to go back to her at this point. She feels like a starter vtuber, really simple and easy to get into but also really basic. Not a lot of memorable traits to her once you start learning about the more complex ones. Opposite for me. I found her pretty boring in the beginning and a lot of dead air during her streams filtered me hard. She couldn't even play minecraft and chat at the same time. She used to say how she cant chat and focus on the game. Fast forward a few months and she improved a lot and her zatsus became very enjoyable. I think Gura is better than ever now.

Got tired of her ghosting her fans. It's only getting worse as time goes on. She doesn't give a shit when she's not streaming and even when she is, she's in a hurry to end her stream by cutting gameplay short and not reading superchats/turning them off. Only holo member who constantly uses "hololive stuff" as an excuse to not stream, when in reality she's just a lazy fuck who doesn't give a shit.

Literally the opposite for me. I thought I'd have Ame as my oshi, but I eventually switched to Gura. Before, Gura was extremely guarded, nervous, and boring. She rarely talked about anything about herself, and when she did it was under so many layers of kayfabe. Her earliest antis even used it as ammo to make thousands of threads about how she didn't want to be close, or "connected", to her fans because of how her opsec was up basically up all the time. Then there was this issue of how nervous she was, and as a result how boring she was. She just wouldn't take any risks then, she wouldn't let her emotions come out, she was even very cautious about her language. Her streams then really felt like they were for kids (thus the shitposting angle that survives to this day). Shitposters, of course, spun this around to say that she was the fakest vtuber, that nothing about what she's showing us is her real self. Gura nowadays is so different. Now, Gura just talks about everything in her life, from the stuff she's snacking on, to even the most embarrassing stuff.It was that effort on her part to be more open that I started liking her more and more. Her streams are entertaining now, at least they are compared to the slog that her streams used to be, you can't even compare. The moment she got over all that nervousness over streaming and started getting more and more comfortable, she felt more and more natural too, and not detached like how she used to feel. Now her best content are her zatsudans, if I told anyone that a month after she debuted nobody would believe me. She absolutely sucked about talking about anything, I'm really glad she changed. She still needs lots of improvement, but over time I think she'll get lot better.

I got into this hobby with HoloEN but now I only watch 2views and 3views. I like it better being able to actually talk to the streamer, and when the audience is small it feels like my support matters more I guess.
Also I know this sounds cringe but I unironically like the community aspect, and I just couldn't stand the never-ending shitflinging and tribalism in Hololive threads anymore.

I've been watching Miori since she joined Tsunderia back in May, around which time she really wasn't much bigger than anyone else. She may be a 3view now and her chat may be moving much faster than it used to, but I'm proud of her for how far she's come and I can't bring myself to drop her just because she's bigger now.
