Which is funny when by census data Christians are 1-2% of the population at most - it has cultural influence over things like weddings and some mass media like Evangelion but that’s about it. From what I can tell they see it much how western people tend to see Hellenic mythology, a foreign curiosity. And even then if some Holos like Marine are Christian they clearly respect much of the non-Christian traditions of their culture, for example the entire Touhou series that Marine fan girls over is based closely on Shinto, Buddhism and Taoism, with few references to Christianity within it. The clip’s likely just an off colour joke but then I’m an EOP. Also Shinto is unironically a based philosophy from which there is a lot to learn, same for Tengrism and other nature-oriented traditions (although it would be stupid to copy them entirely)
