I have a draft with ideas for making a proposal to redefine our political and religious lore. How open are mapfaging kronies to this?

My idea is recent Representative Democracy replacing an Oligarchy government, while our church is independent but with hard lobby on the nation's decisions. The faction in power is residual to the previous order while new representatives have arisen from the political revolutions coming from our civil wars.

My idea is trying to separate religious lore to be more free to write and based on references to Kronii and allowing us to let the political power represent the realpolitik of Infinite.

Anon... there's zero oversaturation in CS/engineering/stats. I know people in my graduating cohort that had zero fucking experience and just grinded their degrees out, and they still landed a job. Albeit a shitty one, but still pays decently (40-50k) and gives them the experience they need to work towards 6-digit salaries in a few years.
The world is literally in a digital age as more things trend towards automation. If you have strong numeric and analytical skills (which most people don't, hence the massive drop-out rates in CS/engineering/stats programs because of things like linear algebra and multiv. calc weeding out the mathematically inept), you will get a job somewhere.
A really oversaturated degree is something like psychology or sociology.

There's no such thing as "figuring out AI". I'm not even sure what this means, do you think there'll just be like a one-size-fits-all program that can automate anything and everything? Because that already exists, it's called machine learning algorithms. Though it'll never attain the fidelity and specificity that traditional hard-coding methods in AI used to since you were mapping as many inputs as possible to their outputs. Though it's impossible to engineer hardware that would be capable for such computing demands. And even in the off-chance there were, programmers would still be called upon to help program those scripts and fit them for every possible application. Then you'd have people that mostly debug code and so on and so forth. Most computer scientists work in industry and do applied work, the whole "figuring out AI" thing is research and something relegated to academia. Completely disconnected.

Plus, it'll have no effect on job security because just like how you'll need engineers and electricians to maintain the hardware, you'll need programmers to maintain the software.
Also, programmers aren't just relegated to automation for industry. There's a lot of creative fields like game design that exist as well.

I'm personally not a fan of the idea. Maybe it's because I'm chuuni as fuck but a representative democracy in a low fantasy fictional world doesn't sound cool/appealing. And we already agreed that the grand priestess is more of a figurehead rather than the actual political leader and her main duties are more religious. An elected council (personally I don't think they necessarily have to be elected. They could be unelected nobles ect.) who rule the country on behalf of the grand priestess with her blessing and are the real political leaders of infinity sounds more interesting and since it's an oligarchy, there can be internal conflicts within the council which keeps the real life petty squabbles we have in this general and have it so that there must be a measure of consensus to make a decision. And making our government a democracy just because we use poals often is just boring when it comes to building a fictional country. We use poals because the thread as a whole needs to arrive at an agreement for /vtwbg/ but our fictional country doesn't need to. And making the church a political lobbying entity restrains the religious lore in other ways. There will always be restrictions one way or the other.

I've noticed they recruit "generations" for a reason. They bring in a group that can kind of complement each other and have somewhat different backgrounds. The result is something like a sports team where you need people in certain positions. So, it's not like the best 4 or 5 people get in. They want a kind of squad that works together with their weaknesses and strengths. That might make it harder, but I suppose what kind of makes the whole idol culture unique is that you're looking for people an audience will want to root for. That may mean finding people who have otherwise been out of luck for a long time or people from disadvantaged backgrounds. That said, it's certainly a very difficult job and one that's going to only get more challenging as Hololive deals with expanding beyond its core base as time goes on and runs into greater competition.

There was a time when Hatsune Miko had live concerts to big audiences like Hololive just did and before Hololive Nijisanji was the biggest show in town. The entertainment business can be a very fickle beast.
