eh, I think with Kiara being in a much better place now and enough distance from Mori (both temporal and emotional), she'll know what to expect from Mori by now and is much better equipped to handle it if she goes on another ghosting period again.

Kiara isn't as reliant on Mori as her only/biggest partner anymore as when they were both alone together in Japan, she has diversified her relations much more. Mori ghosting her would've / did hurt in the past because she was (over)invested in their relationship and it sucks when you don't get the same effort reciprocated back that you put in, but by now, with almost a year, half a globe, and many new people between them, she can shrug it off more easily ("Mori is busy again? Oh well whatever, I just hang out with my other friends instead").
