This isn't about Aqua, it's about Suisei. Supposedly she is getting coaching, probably just someone Towa has roped in but of course 'muh Holo with a man' has caused people to schiz out, despite Suisei being one who has never had a problem collaborating with men.

People just want to see a normal curve but everyone and their mother already knows that where you are within a tier doesn't matter.
If you can climb plat 4 to plat 3 you can climb to diamond. Tiers start to matter in D4+, and that's why the point distributions in community tournaments will score you based on your tier, not your placement within that tier, if you're below diamond.
