Sorry for the delay! I wanted to make a few more changes but it's decent enough as is. The only thing to watch out for is I put some holes in the bottom of the feet. If you don't want them just fill the gap in blender or put a support/blocker/whatever in your printing slicer.

They used to sell ant hives made with those transparent gel that makes the hive easier to observe, although those aren't too good for the ants from what I heard. Nests like this are probably the best way to watch how ants act without slowly killing them.

Yes, usually queen is the biggest ant in a colony , although up close you can also tell the queen by the scars on her back, where her wings used to be. It's actually pretty cool that the first batch of ants (who will feed the queen and let her focus on laying eggs) is fed by the queen using her liquified back muscle.
