It's not experimental so much as her environment. Mocap is an old technology, but the problem with Giri is that her arms would have to be modeled in Live2D so well and complex that they'd be functionally 3D, otherwise you'd get hand disconnects frequently. That plus the general technical issues of recording in an area with reflective surfaces and lots of obstacles (kitchen counter cookware), would probably require some 3D body trackers or syncing at least three cameras from different angles, which is at least several hundred dollars even if you know exactly what you're doing. Possibly more for laymen that have to hire assistance.
