You should rename it to something like "Btubers - Boomer vtubers". Gets the point across that the threads for vtubers who play older games, but still allows some flexibility in who or what might be allowed; if we find another vtuber playing older games they can be added, and there could possibly be allowances for if a bigger vtuber is playing an older game, like Pomu has done occasionally. The Anya/Petra global happened because of memes that eventually became its own established thing, which I don't think a Amiya-Lumi global can really match at this point.

Whoever made this general should kill himself. I saw a couple of SEAnigs in Lumis generals before (probably Ryofag or that other retard sega) or even worse, Daryl. The last thing we need in Ami's chat are those mongoloids sperging out and ruining the comfy vibe.

I see what ya mean and to be honest, it's been so long since I played Vanilla Freespace I wouldn't mind seeing it in all its 1998 glory. Plus I was even worried that I would sound pushy when asking her not to skip the first game. So I know where you are coming from. I wonder if she would be ok with doing Freespace 1 vanilla and using the Open Source Project to play the second? At most, it just brings the graphics up to modern standards and fixes bugs. Plus Silent Threat does happen, its just not very good which is why everyone plays the Reborn remake. Which fits in a lot better into the overall story and is much more polished.

the thing is, she hasn't even streamed the game once yet but you are already having a fit about how she should play the game the "right" way and how you have to make sure not to "bombard her with stuff out of the gate" despite being a green name.

You are jumping to some conclusions here pal. The freespace series has in a lot of ways been forgotten. I doubt it will bring in a huge crowd. The C&C games have memes and an insane fanbase. The Freespace games really don't have any memes that go with them due to how serious the game stories are. The story and gameplay are the best things about this series. Even then some of the missions can go tits up if your wingmates go full retard or just bad luck. I am looking forward to some of the weird physics things that can happen. Like one time a fighter I was chasing smacked into a capital ship, got destroyed, and flung backward at speeds I never thought possible while it was blowing up. Then its debris went even FASTER. Or one time I was escorting some ships through an asteroid field, they were barely alive by the time we got to the final waypoint. Then a space rock decided to show up out of nowhere, hit one ship. Causing it to SPEEN at such speeds that it tore itself apart and I failed the mission because it didn't enter subspace fast enough!
