It all depends on how the vtuber feels about themselves personally. Good, bad, straight up ugly doesn’t matter. Mousey has talked about this. She will never do a face reveal, for obvious reasons, and understands that there are many girls who just aren’t comfortable putting themselves out there like that. I am not ugly and I don't put my face anywhere. Didn't even add a photo to my job applications to the protest of my job coach simply because I am a little paranoid. There is no way in hell I'd doxx myself on YT or social media by making a face reveal so I don't blame anyone for wanting to keep it to themselves. Very few, most vtubers were singers, face streamers, cosplayers ect before they got into vtubing. You'll probably see more unattractive vtubers in the future where you have people who have spent their whole careers as nothing but vtubers, but then again you'll never know because they won't have old material to reference.
