Looks nice so far, can't wait to see it being fleshed out more! Do the different people still maintain their initial interpretation of the omen? Or do they decide to compare notes to integrate their mythology into a single pantheon?

>> No.20010198

>>20009369
Well, they will ultimately unite into a single kingdom, so i think they will end up forming a single pantheon, but as the kingdom is formed from the union of different cultures from different backgrounds, disparate pockets of peoples will still hold to their pre-unification beliefs and interpretations.

I think it would be really interesting if the kingdom wasn't wholly united, so i think these disparate beliefs should sometimes be at odds with the united pantheon over some interpretations, giving an air of tension and making the kingdom have to worry about it's own internal stability. This might be too hard for me to write though, so i might not pursue it. Still in the air though.

Sorry I'm late, but here's a teeny little run down! Yes, femboy Rosebuds (Formally known as a Rosy/Rosies) are very much available! They're not human, being plant-pig-humanoids, but they are pretty nice looking if I do say so myself! Their faces are actually pretty human, the most startling difference maybe being the cute little button nose snout they have. But it's a pretty flat "snout" so it's not like you're staring at a pig while you're banging a dude. Maybe the most off-putting thing would be the hoof hands, but I'm sure you won't mind when you learn how gentle the touch is. And of course, as per the usual with Rosies, the roses on their heads are capable of releasing an aphrodisiac into the air to help you get in the mood and stay in it. Oh, but you can't pollinate them, since other species are incompatible.

>> No.20010417

>>20010198
Well, a major factor of that would be how strict the unified kingdom enforce its own interpretation of the omen and the religion that spawns from it. If they keep things relatively loose (which might be a good idea given the different cultures making up the kingdom), then the theological conflicts would be less likely to spill over (outside some zealots). That might be easier to handle while keeping the different cultures unique. Of course, it also depends on how your thread is like, since that's what this world is primarily representing.

I just noticed the prompt technically doesn't specify it being alcoholic... I'll see to the non-alcoholic part later, but it'll likely be something like >>20007985.
>As the most common food crop in /meat/, maize is also the most common material used to make alcohol commonly called chichiatl. Generally made by priestesses of the cult, chichiatl is made by grounding down the starchy maize before moistening it with the maker's mouth, before being laid out to dry as malt. Afterwards, the wort is extracted from the malt and left to ferment in large, heated earthenware for days. The result is usually a murky brown beverage comparable to beer. While it is often consumed directly, many chichiatl, especially those of higher value, is enhanced by being brewed with all kinds of spices, fruits, and even blood. Like dipping sauce, it is said that every household has its secret family recipe for their own chichiatl, and no two jars of chichiatl are ever the same.
>Other alcoholic beverages commonly consumed in /meat/ include corn whiskey (commonly called kornandi) and cassava beer. While chichiatl is commonly consumed by the priestly upper class, sometimes in religious ceremonies, corn whiskey and cassava beer are stereotypically drunk by lower-class workers and foreigners alike. Especially among soldiers and raiders, kornandi is often brewed and consumed alongside a myriad of local herbs, shrooms and other medicine. In addition to making them more palatable, the high alcoholic content is believed to facilitate the extraction and absorption of ingredients. Some veterans purportedly consume a large amount of herb-enriched kornandi before combat, utilising the intoxication to put them in a trance-like fury. The influx of foreign culture has led to increased acceptance of kornandi among the upper class, although chichiatl is still considered the principal drink of /meat/ due to its cultural and religious significance.

>Nuts are a way of life. They are used for food, currency, trading, and even witchcraft to a small few. This is why the magical forest is so important to risuners.
>The townspeople commonly exchange each others nuts to taste and experiment. This is called a nut exchange and happens almost daily.
>Unknown to most risuners, these trees and sometimes the nuts themselves contained very small amounts of chuubanite, mainly increasing growth and ensuring nuts will be in plentiful supply
>Once a year the risuners would give all their nuts to risu as she went across every village in their land doing her collection. This tradition is sacred and all risuners including outsiders must participate. This is called the monthly "Nut tribute"
>The Nut tribute effectively resets the economy so no one risuner can become too powerful and keeps their oshi happy.
>Anyone who does not participate will be hunted down and thrown into the geese chambers. WARNING this does include outsiders. Advised outsiders who are into trading do not visit during november if they wish to keep traded nuts.

Back from the nap. So far /nasa/'s trade list is with /who/, /infinity/, KFP, and /rose/. Still in talks with what to trade with /risu/. /who/ allows /nasa/ to build a bakery at their port city. Which locals will be trained there to operate it. /who/ will also trade potatoes, cattle, and milk. /infinity/ has been comissioned to make specific gears that cannot be hand made in exchange for meteorite and gold. KFP will trade chickens and machine parts for flour, sugar, and space-preserved pastries. And /nasa/ is looking for teas and bath salts from /rose/.

/uuu/ might let us pick wildberries in exchange for bread and pastries. Though they want to try our wildberry pies. /ggg/ mentioned trying some of our food but no trade deal has been secured. /risu/ has nut flour so they might not be interested in wheat. There is some interest in sugar and alcohol. /nasa/ is assessing the disease risk from /meat/ before striking a trade deal with cacao.

At the moment /nasa/'s priority has shifted from repairing the station's engines to developing refigeration tech, which will hopefully lead to cryo to liquify gasses for fuel. We still need more research on Chuubanite and how it works.

Republic Owl / Pecпyбликa Филин / République Hibou / 共和国 ワシミミズク
On entertainment and street culture

The population tends to be somewhat quiet, with a strong preference for small and sharp responses, if you walk by in the streets, no one will greet or try to bother you, and most people expect the same, this does not mean that the population is unfriendly or unreceptive as most will still reciprocate the greetings. It is to be considered that the population tends to be rough, crude and irritable, and thus fights can commence easily, tipically after the street brawls the involved will simply carry on with their path, althought sometimes grudges are kept between the participants. The guards try to interfere as little as possible whenever brawls happen, but will be forced to if the situation gets out of control. As a fun fact, martial ability isn't state sponsored, but it's very common among the population thanks to the large amount of veterans that wend back to civilian life and spread the techniques they learnt in their service.

The traditional music of the Republic uses drums at its core, with very heavy drumming being preferred, and vocals to carry the melody, other instruments are in use to aid in the carrying of the melody or to outright replace the vocals when no capable vocalist is present, the cello is also a favorite of many musical groups.

People often go to the pubs to drink and have a good time, this does result in a higher than usual amount of bar brawls and guards are often placed nearby to stop them once they get violent enough.

Theather plays are somewhat uncommon, and famously bad, ironically, this makes them a good tourist attraction as people want to see just how bad they are, comedy plays are the usual.

The Republic sometimes organizes public games.

Using the original map with all the continents put together and the scale from the holocontinent map, we see that it takes 82 bars to span the globe, each representing a length of 160 km. This gives a circumference of 13,120 km compared to earth's 40,075 km. If we want this planet to be earth-sized, then we should take each bar to be closer to 500 km.

20042086

I think we should probably start discussing an official scale of the map, and work to implement some sort of distance indicator.

The map we currently have is 6000 pixels across, and the world is 24901 miles to circum navigate, which gives us a very inconvenient pixel to mile ratio of 6000 : 24901. However I have devised some solutions.

We could solve this by either making the world of /vt/ larger by rounding it up to 25000, which would make each pixel about 4.16 recurring miles squared. I frankly don't like this option since 4.16 miles isn't a very easy number to work with either.

Alternatively we could round it down to 24000 which would make each pixel 4 miles squared, which is a pretty pleasant number and still keeps us relatively close: we only shed a little over the square mileage of London. This one is my favorite.

Alternatively we could either shrink or grow the world to fit a different number, however unless there is wide demand I wouldn't see a reason to. making the pixel to mile ratio 1 to 1 or 2 to 2 would make the world very small, but depending on what your view is this could actually be a good thing.
enlarging the world to 30000 to make each pixel 5 square miles would make travel hard.

pic related is a map I made with distance measures based on the 4 kilometers per pixel. This catbox contains a png version of it.

>inb4 create more meteorites by throwing asteroids to earth.

You mine asteroids for silicon and metal as you would any mineral vein on Earth. You're wasting more of that burning through the atmosphere than refining them in space. The official and more widely used map would be the Mercator projection more people are used to and familiar with obviously, the unfolded pic would just be a handy reference.

In pic related you can see the old borders in red, which are what I've been using for my territory maps, and the border from the current topography map in black. Looking at them side-by-side, I would guess that this change was made to fit all the orange from the mountains into /kfp/ territory. Letting kids play in the mud has a bunch of benefits, but strengthening the immune system isn't one of them. The issue of living in an aseptic environment when it comes to immunity, as far as we know, is that people is more likely to develop allergy due to them not coming into contact with foreign objects that are "harmless" (like pollen, dust and bug droppings) when their immune system is still learning what to kill, as such when they finally touch them later in life, the immune system just go HAM on that and potentially kill them in the process. In a way, you can say growing up in an aseptic environment makes your immune system too sensitive and too powerful, not the other way around.
Coming into contact with pathogen does make your immune system more effective against the same pathogen in the future if you come into contact with them, which is basically how immunisation and vaccination works. However, diseases that will kill you the first time tend to be, by definition, rather deadly, like smallpox, rabies, and ebola, so logically the biggest concern a spaceman who has been living in a flying Apple store when it comes to immunity would be them being allergic to absolutely everything, rather than getting killed by actual pathogen around.
Of course, it also depends on whether this world has a constant smallpox presence. If this is indeed the case, then /nasa/ might be in some troubles (then again, so would the rest of the population, given that smallpox used to kill like a third of the people it infected even in Europe).

does this negate any of my prior statements, or is it just a nitpick, if educational to an appreciable degree? smallpox was cured with cow pox because they were similar, but cow pox was milder, and thus less deadly. if someone were forced to stay alive while under the effects of small pox, would it not theoretically lead to an immunization to small pox without the need for cow pox? further more, is it not true that /nasa/ would fit your description of an overactive immune system? i will concede that "strengthen" may have been the wrong choice of words, but the meaning i was going for wasn't lost as far as i could tell. if we are in the mood to nitpick, could we not say that the self-regulatory systems of the immune system would be strengthened, thus allowing it to be less wasteful? regardless, thank you for your correction, as i found it rather interesting.

>prior statement
More accurately, people do let kids play in the mud for the perceived benefit of "strengthening immune system", and there are benefits of letting kids play in the mud. However, kids do not have their immune system strengthened by playing in the mud.
>pox issue
More accurately, due to how lethal and virulent smallpox is, human societies that don't get wiped out by smallpox have been trying to keep smallpox in check. When it comes to prevention with a measurable effect, the earliest method (and probably the only thing /vt/land has given the tech level) would be variolation, which involves taking pus or dried scrabs and introducing it to someone else's body (usually be inhaling the ground scabs, or piercing their skin with tools dipped in pus). The mortality rate of this method seems to be around 2%, which is considered enough an improvement of the ~30% mortality rate of smallpox to be practised commonly in places like China, India and Ottoman Empire. It is only later that cowpox is used instead of smallpox (as they turn to be similar enough to work for immunisation), but the methodology is still the same until more modern vaccine was invented beyond this setting's time frame.
>/nasa/ and overactive immune system
Yes, it's likely that /nasa/ spacepeople will suffer from a lot of allergy, but the issue is that exposing them to allergens are not going to help cure that. If anything, it is going to make their next allergic reaction deadlier (due to the aforementioned immunisation system) unless /meat/ has some kind of way to remove immune cells programmed to react to the allergen.

You are sort of right in your assumption, those are the main things that effect climate and weather. However, size does relate to planet mass, and planet mass relates to the force of gravity on the planet's surface, which relates to the thickness of the planet's atmosphere.
More massive planet means a more massive atmosphere, and a more massive atmosphere leads to a stronger greenhouse effect, leading to a warmer planet. Conversely, a less massive planet means a thinner atmosphere, leading to a weaker greenhouse effect and a colder planet.

This could be circumvented by moving the planet closer or further away from it's parent star, but this would affect year length unless the orbiting speed of the planet is also increased / decreased accordingly. I do not know if this would cause any issues, but this would not solve the issue of stronger / weaker gravity.

Stronger / weaker surface gravity would mean a higher / lower air density near the surface. This would affect flight of animals and machines alike, as well as ballistics, but going into that may be too much math autism, and possibly the rate at which fires burn since with higher air density there would be more oxygen to fuel a fire in any given volume of space depending on the gas composition of the planet's atmosphere, as well as the mass of the planet, this could also cause some other issues like affecting the temperature at which water boils for example, and at worst it could create areas of the planet that are toxic to breathe due to buildup of heavy gasses in low-lying environments Correct me anyone who knows chemistry if I'm wrong in this.
I do not know how higher or lower gravity would affect wind speeds or rainfall, but it likely would, since both of those things both are affected by temperature differences, which relates to the mass of the atmosphere.

Gravity problems could be fixed for larger planets by making the planet less dense but I feel like this would cause some issues too, although I do not know what those issues may be.

For smaller planets, you could make them more dense or have them have a more massive iron core, but a smaller planet naturally will mean a weaker magnetic field due to there being less temperature difference between the core and the mantle which would be partially caused by the planet radiating away heat at a faster rate due to its higher surface area in relation to its volume which could lead to increased radiation on the surface, and would lead to increased rate of the planet losing gasses from its atmosphere. This may have happened to mars actually.
For this to not be a problem, the planet, and by extension the solar system, would have to be younger, which could affect the tectonics and evolution of life on the planet, and resources such as coal, oil, and the amount of radioactive elements in the planet's crust.

Of course, all of this could just be handwaved away, especially so if the planet is only a little bit bigger or smaller than earth.

>some kind of way to remove immune cells programmed to react to the allergen.
so why is it that when children are exposed to allergens in the wild, their immune system learns how to deal with them? isn't it a fairly adaptable system? it's not like everyone has the same allergies as each other, or always has the same allergies over time or anything, right? am i missing something here? i took microbiology classes and if i am remembering them correctly, this is basically just a giant nitpick without much more than pedantry to justify it, which would be fine if you acknowledged it as that, i suppose. i'm just not sure what role this response has provided at this point. so, you are disagreeing with me on the use of the word "strengthen", which i have already conceded was technically the wrong word to use, and as you now continue to mention it, i have to ask how it benefits the overall discussion to dwell on it? it's still interesting, but it's seeming a bit repetative for what value it provides at this point, no offense.

The nightmares of immunology classes...
>children allergy
We're not *completely* sure on how allergies develop, but the current understanding is that exposure to harmless foreign material during the early days of one's life help build up a white list of sort, essentially making sure that the immune system doesn't go apeshit on these things (something called immunotolerance). The exact cutoff point (if there is one) is a bit muddy (heh), but it seems to be somewhere between 1 year old to preschool age. After that, encountering allergens will probably not help getting it added to the whitelist, but instead trigger an allergic effect.
>adaptability
It is a very adaptable system. In fact, you can say that might be the issue here. While it means your immune system can potentially protect you from all kinds of pathogens, past and future, it also has to learn whether it is a new pathogen or just some kind of new microplastic. As for how it's likely done, see the above point.
What causes allergic reactions to threaten one's wellbeing (or life) is still somewhat a mystery, because sometimes we seem to just develop allergy all of a sudden.
>"strengthen"
That was meant to respond to the initial point in >>20068228, where my response in >>20068844 is questioned in >>20069296. As such, I use the original phrasing to address the point. I did try to make it so that I don't imply you maintaining the original meaning by having it be "strengthening", but I missed one in the next sentence. I apologise if that caused misunderstandings.

Regardless, the point is basically that from a purely academic standpoint, /nasa/'s main issue in immunity would be allergy rather than being vulnerable to pathogens. That said, it's not like /nasa/ has a big enough population base to survive a major epidemic, even if they have about the same mortality rate as the rest of the planet. It ultimately depends on what /nasa/ wants in terms of depiction, and there are always ways to justify that.

aaaand I've been corrected.
I doubt most of this will come up/be important, especially since we're not shedding very much mass, but its still worth considering, at least before we start handwaving.

We should also probably wait until we can get a map without Mercator stretching before deciding on anything. the Pixel kilometer/mile ratio may be different on it, or entirely redundant by then.

Really, the right order of priorities should be to see what world size is desired for the geopolitics we want, since those are the star of the show when you get down to it. And then we work our way backward from that. Once we pick a global circumference, we can find justifications for how 1G gravity is retained, we can calculate the km/pixel, we can see if and how climate is affected.

there is also the fact that the exact method that /meat/ regeneration/medical science works is partially left to magic. i always imagined it reworking the body in a developmental sort of way, where your body would be forced to go back through the process of birth to be able to regenerate, hence cancer and the possibility of healing errors.

this seems to indicate that you believe something i said was so egregious that it was worth criticizing the whole of academia within that field. i won't say academia isn't a shitshow, but even after all of this, the only thing i said that wasn't accurate was the use of the word strengthen. all the rest is the simplification of processes that don't need to be addressed in much detail, and other such nitpicks. if i am wrong please try to be more specific, or clear about what exactly i said that was inaccurate.

>/meat/ is also known for their preference for human flesh as food. It is believed that ingesting chuubanite-infused flesh will offer some degree of protection from pathogens, poison, and even fear, especially when it is "activated" by wearing chuubanite-infused organic material, ranging from body armour to religious trinklets and artefacts.
So it might be of use for /nasa/, although I'm not too sure if they would want to try that out themselves.

Also, I bring up the matter of changing the positions of fbk and mion, again, since we're talking about that area. If that happens, the new /mion/ would have to take some land from new /fbk/, to compensate for the current size difference, any possible land taken for the formation of okfams if that happens, and also because /fbk/ also has land in /bakatare/ so the loss is lessened, though they would be moved further north to a colder climate.

There would be a bottom layer of buildings containing most of the farms and gathering posts as well as trade hubs for both risuners and outsiders. Above that would be a top layer around big tree trunks that resemble ewok villages with bridges to connect each other. Good thing i just woke up, the whole deal with /uuu/ started because I remember the /nasa/ rep saying that they never came by and how he couldn't get trade deals because of that, so I just came in with a big negotiation for the land i wanted in their general, key word being negotiation, then they offered me their entire land because they didn't want to be involved in the project.
I didn't like or want that because I've no idea on how I'd integrate them in the political system of the Republic or the lore i was building, also, if they ever do start being more interested in the project thay'd have no lands to start from and that'd make a big mess.
I told them i didn't want to annex them, just the lands, I had to reduce it to a "protection" deal, I also proceeded to announce it in the thread as quickly as I could.

I think the real reason others had a problem with /infinity/ doing it was because they basically said "we aren't isolationist anymore" and then announced their protectorate of /risu/, making it a bigger powerplay, /infinity/ had argued for many things using isolationism and supposed civil war as reasonings for their technological superiority, now that one of those went out the window, /infinity/'s technology is called into question. Ya we're just seeing another large section of historical revisionism, from some posters over /infinity/ attempting a land grab right after changing their lore. A thing that many poster complained could and would happen given their advantages over others. The matter appears to be settled right now so its ot a big deal but seeing some anon's act like /infinity/ was singled out for arbitrary reasons is pretty disingenuous

>> No.20086773

>>20083776
Hello, I'm Gramps from /Infinity/. I don't want to start a loop, just clarify some things and clean misunderstand that are my fault. Later Archivebud will make post with official moves and lore from Infinity.

I am to blame of Infinity leaving isolationism, I pushed for searching trade partners and alliances around the world. It's in my intention to lore this things up and work in the unbalance it has created. I'm sorry for all the complications it has caused, it wasn't my intention, I just find we being part of the world is a more interesting approach to write stuff and give us reasons to interact more /here/ and with other map-friendly threads.

That being said, my 'plan' (if you want to call it that, as I just proposed things to the thread) was to establish us as a trading nation with links to every continent of the world, as I see us as a very populated thread with people with multiple oshis in different companies, and also representation of several fetish threads. This proposal, easily traceable in archives, was never meant to be an imperialist move. My mentality about alliances were considering lore, we are isolationist, so our forces would be defensive. As such, I went hard, as to defend this idea, to kronies having a hard line on sovereign.

As you can also trace, our first move in this direction was to try to make friends with /mep/ and /anyapetra/, based on the KIRA group (we're already friends with KFP, and Hirys rejected us when asked, which is fair). Given this, another anon though about a canal, which we found it cool (we were ignorant that world tech gap wouldn't make it feasible). At some moment, one anon tried to make an alliance with Risu, but no one in the thread cared, and they pretty much said to take it and leave it. After this, we discussed thoroughly (again, archives exist) how to approach this land we have just got, as it wasn't our intention to 'own' it. As it was informed here, we chose the 'protectorade' as a way to be open to 'give back' the land if some Risuer came to /vgwbg/ to participate, which happened right away, I'm immensely happy that it happened (specially because he seems to have fun lorewriting*). After this happened, we arranged a dialog in our thread with the rep and we have reached a solution easily.

Now, because we have a bad rep here, which dates to previous actions from Infinity before I joined this effort and have falseflagging involved, we are specially picky on how we inform this here, so we are very bureaucratic on taking action for the good of this thread, but that means that while this place was burning in loop discussion we've already though solutions that would show up here days latter. That is why I started to post here the other day trying to ask to stop the looping and conversation until we gave official statements, which, again, are ready to be publish by our representative. As it's well known about our thread, we consider that it has to be him the authorized voice here to stop the misunderstanding around us.

Hope this clarifies everything about our intentions. The solutions to the problems will be on Archivebud posts.

Thanks for reading. Glory to the time goddess, glory to Infinity, and a heartfelt desire of progress to the /vtwbg/ world.

uh, in short...
You wanted to make /infinity/ a trading nation with particular focus on KFP, HIRyS, Petranya, /mep/, this is something that goes against the established lore of your thread as "Isolationist" so you pushed to change that.
You also thought that pushing for defensive alliances would somehow also fit along with your isolationism.
And the third point is just "wait for our representative please" which is fair.

I guess that explains your thinking process, still, unfortunately your ideas for /infinity/ go against multiple of the things that were asked from them, things like the tech advantage were given to /infinity/ because of isolationism and civil war, meaning that they wouldn't break the world market and everything else just by existing. Or something like that, it's still too early for me to use my brain.

I was actually thinking about something along the lines of this for /nasa/'s armour. While weapons can be attached to it, it's main use would be protection against whatever an exoplanet can throw against our explorer teams planetside. would protect against massive pressure, heat, cold, acid,... and while normal bullets would just bounce off, cannoballs could still knock out the pilot, and even damage it if they hit a joint or something

Good news. /nasa/ finished the rough draft of the bakeries for /who/. Our primary product will be bread and pastries, but we will have ice-cream, smoothies, and juices. If we can secure trade for coffee and tea them we'll sell those too. Ice houses are a given as they will store both ice and perishables we need. 1/3rd of the building will be the store where we put products on display. We will have an outside dining area with umbrellas and tables. Umbrellas can be made out of leather. 2/3rds of the building will be deticated to the kitchens. We'll have counter tops to prepare dough and batter. Mixers and blenders to prepare frostings and drinks. Wood burning stove ranges to make custards and other hot ingridients. And we'll have a wall of brick ovens at varying temperatures to bake whatever we need. Some dishes that are based on meat and fish have to be ordered in advanced due to how long it takes to prepare them. We're also going to be hiring and training local bakers as /nasa/ doesn't have the people to run the operation. They'll be paid for their work obviously. And local bakers are free to experiment and invent new ideas for products.

If we can get trade with /risu/, /uuu/, and /rose/ then we can add nuts, tea, and fruit pastries. I suppose if /who/ has no problem with /meat/'s cacao then we can trade to have chocolate pastries and puddings.

One of the anons that complained, I still I'm not fine with it but the thread at that time didn't seem to have any objections to them doing it so I dropped it. Glad that the inf debacle brought this back up, though it sounds to me that, like inf, who didn't have any bad intentions by making that move on the surface, that is, for both nations, so I think something may be negotiated.
We could have who give uuu their land back, and instead have an alliance and right to move through their borders with no tariffs. Who can also go to the uuu thread and ask if they can write lore for them, to establish some trade deals and stuff, that would be checked by this thread to see if they're reasonable.
As to why inf was specifically scrutinised, it's been explained enough already so I'll leave it at that.

>I just find we being part of the world is a more interesting approach to write stuff and give us reasons to interact more /here/ and with other map-friendly threads
Others did too, which is why we questioned your isolationism early, and one of the reasons nuefag had you with the rest of the council members and closer to many of your possibly relevant trade partners. You pushed for the isolationist Island approach and got it, deservedly I think, but then backtracked out of one of your core lore points and reasons of your placement, hence the backlash.
>was to establish us as a trading nation with links to every continent of the world
The thing with this, as was also pointed out before nuefag had left, is that your island is pretty far out in the ocean. I'm not much of a history/naval/trading buff so my knowledge is limited, but I feel like it'd be challenging to maintain regular trade routes with the nations closest to you, Eastern side of the Holo and Niji continents and Western side of the indies, nevermind becoming a trading hub, for all the continents even. Your route to meat is really long, and you literally couldn't be further from the fetish continent or ggg and the rest of the middle part of the Holo continent, including hlgg. I appreciate you attempted to solve this with the canal, but it's been deemed impossible by many, so I'd instead suggest the road through risu you're planning, and the employment of rental boats on the other side, though I'm not sure how much time that would actually save.

As a nation that has a literal flower as its borders, I'm willing to give pyon their rabbit island, if its made to look semi natural.
Picrel was me fucking around the paint tools on my phone so don't take it that seriously, but it may serve as inspiration or something. I figured the inside of the island would have a large mountain in the middle, with steep cliffs to the south, smoother hills to the east, west and north, to resemble the snout, and two rivers ending in lakes to the northeast and northwest to resemble the eyes. I also played around with the ears, fragmenting one of them into smaller island, and folding the other. The extra river on the left island was meant to act as the folding line, but it may not be necessary. The island itself may (need to) be volcanic.
