Both of these can be true. Irys has a bad model. Myth burnout and Council being such a dud hampered Holo's momentum. Losing Coco + bunch of big names not streaming + Rushia also took a lot of wind out of HoloJP.

That said I still think Hololive is too big to fail. All it takes is one good gen to get the engine running again. Look at how good HoloX has done in JP.
