So I'm a retard who wants to learn how to sing and got confused at the sheer amount of info about singing.
I've started doing vocal exercise reps religiously, but is there such a thing as too much power?
I used to do stage plays like a decade ago and remembered to project my voice, but whenever I do, people two stories down told me they could hear me screaming. Is that actually the correct technique or should I put in less power?

Last thread people were talking about talents and skills to show off in a corpo audition tape, just so you aren't a "guy playing a game" with nothing else to offer. I was wondering if video editing counts as a talent/strength for the audition.
I can't sing or draw well, nor do ASMR, that sort of thing, but I'm pretty confident in making visually engaging videos, so I wanted to ask if that's good enough to show in the audition tape
The idea would be to make a short video playing a game after the self-intro, and flexing my editing as much as possible, is that good enough?
Last thread made it seem like if you aren't a better streamer than Ludwig, better singer than Ed Sheeran, and Elira's friend all at the same time, there's no chance to make into the interview stage.

P.S.: Also intend to talk about cooking, since it's one of my hobbies, but I'm not sure I can fit it all into the 5 minutes, will try though

I just commissioned my model and am waiting on it, but I'm torn about if it's worth it to bring it up to any of my friends. For the first group, I would feel some guilt for shilling since I met them through a vtuber discord & wouldn't want to tie my identities together so to speak. Fridays are definitely juicy but most people are busy gaming, getting high/drunk, or otherwise decompressing from the week. This is a timeloop but I guess it's on-topic. Yes that's true, many people will just close the stream the second they hear your voice(if female avatar) or not open it at all(if male avatar) because they just aren't interested in seeing guys on the screen. At least a third of what makes vtubers interesting in the first place are their avatars, and if you don't like seeing a dude on screen but still want content there's always youtubers.

As with anything, there are areas within streaming where women succeed more than males. There's a reason why all the top ASMR (even real ASMR not just the thot stuff) and hot tub streamers are female. If Men were more successful across the board, then it wouldn't matter what type of content creation they were doing ,they'd be top in all categories.

That's the entire point, a majority of the audience in general are males, and the "core" vtuber audience in general is nothing like the core Twitch audience as a whole, nor are they look for the same thing. Vtubing as a male is essentially a niche within a niche.

That "broad audience" is very, very anti-Vtuber and anti-weeb in general. Simply having an avatar is enough to get a majority of the website to be completely uninterested in you. "Stop having an avatar" should be your main point of advice if you're really trying to help males.
