I could be accurately defined as someone that does not shit in the woods and yet I have the power to change that. I can become the wood shitter.

Basically though we are programmed, we can change our programming. We need to remind ourselves of things we could be doing differently, of things that aren't impossible just because we aren't doing them, or just because they're hard. We may never be completely free but doing this makes us more free and more like the person we want to be. Try to think of things you could do differently and get off autopilot, your habits are not your destiny.

I then decided to enact this by thinking in the dream "Well holy shit this was cool, what I don't do often is wake up from the dream to make sure I remember it so lets do that now" and I woke up. The dream wasn't really fully lucid but apparently near the end it was. Then I spent several minutes in bed thinking about it and making sure I remembered as much as possible.

TL;DR We're capable of changing ourselves, and a good first step is to differentiate between things that are impossible and things that are merely hard.

The constant and blatant number faggotry around here is a huge fucking filter. It's like nothing we ever do is going to be good enough because there aren't enough NUMBERS on a screen. Doesn't matter how dedicated you are, or how much harder you try than the typical fan. At the end of the day champ, your value boils down to a single digit in some statistics. Feels bad.
