Was literally my first choice as faith has always been my favourite in Souls games, but... I just never felt any power from it. Maybe it gets better in the late game but I got up to the Altus plateau still using a Lordsworn SS with sacred blade and the Winged Scythe, with a couple shitty incantations that boast a slower kill time than sneezing on the enemy would, and gave in, bored to tears.

Poise in ER is the most worthless it's ever been; the slightest tap from anything knocks you out of most animations. DeS didn't even have poise and it was still more viable to do a slow tank build there because at least in DeS damage reduction from heavier armour was significant, as opposed to ER where everything kills you in 1-2 hits and armour barely even matters.
