I make the OPs for her threads, shill her by posting her when she's on-topic, and am timestamping her vods so clippers can more easily do their thing. She's also the only chuuba I'm subbed to, but that's only cause I'm poor. If I had more resources I'd buy ads for her, but other anons have that covered already, and if I knew how to edit video I'd be clipping.

Every time I see a new twitch vtuber I end up getting annoyed by finding out I missed their playthrough of some game I really like and now have no way of viewing it because nobody reuploads their vods to youtube.

I don’t know how to feel about this, Like from the buyers perspective, why would you buy a character you did not personally design or have input on? Like, would someone really be able to feel that connection with their streaming persona if they just bought a premise model? Plus it already has tweets and content connected to the design? Unless they are banking on the follows from that to begin with. I’m not sure all I know is it reminds me of Ai switching and it’ll make me sad if it becomes a common thing.

Lack of VODs is a very good argument against twitch, but fixed by just uploading VODs to YT like Veleck and a couple others do.
YT is just riddled with shit design and a horrid AI running it that cripples streamers and content creators that don't win the algorithm lottery. The Viewer bug/feature is just the tip of the iceberg. It's good for videos, skits, and other stuff you might want to watch at your own pace, but miserable for streaming purposes unless you're an already established channel or part of a corporation. As an indie it's just pain.

Vtubing in particular has been focusing more on streaming since Mito changed the course from Ai and the OG's original content model, so preferring a streaming focused platform makes sense.
