Very poorly. I could accept someone watching 4 streams with some awareness of what is going on in all of them, but even then they won't be that aware of what's going on. At most with that many streams they are only really paying attention to one of them at a time and have made it easy to switch between them. Also should be noted that youtube stops counting your views if you watch too many videos at one time as part of their anti bot measures to prevent view inflation.

All societies have taboos. Cancel culture due to political opinions is the newest manifestation of taboo in the West, and this only really occurs in the most leftist places/companies.
When I'm saying that Japan takes it to the next level is that the comformity in the sense of caring what others think and not sticking out too much seems to be (from what I can tell) more prevalent than in the Western societies. A good manifestation of this would be how public spaces are kept cleaner in Japan, a bad one would be office culture there. Idk if Japan has less outright taboos, but I think comformity is more prevalent.
