In Yurustars you get the full spectrum. Temma is chill as fuck and just streams when he wants, doesn't care about numbers (and sometimes lets good numbers slip through his hands). Aruran grinds and streams and collabs forever to get his numbers up (with mixed results), and Miyabi is right there in the middle, wishing he had better numbers but not willing to kill himself like Aruran to try to get there.

I believe Aruran joining Gatch-san circle of friends is his best collab decision recently. Gatch-san I feel is probably one of the few people in the industry who realizes the "mainstream" market is underdeveloped in JP, compared to idol gachis and fujos. Those employees, OLs, work-from-homes, etc. who aren't exactly deep in otaku culture is still there and untapped. They usually watch videos, but not streams (as seen in Gatch-san other channel).
The exact market Rob is going for, also why he clicks well with Gatch-san.

Yeah, he tends to be in his own little world most of the time. He said he'd turn off all notifications on LINE except for birthdays and he doesn't check Twitter often because he'll be occupied with either watching movies, reading manga or playing games when he's not outside or busy with recording. I got exposed to Hololive mostly because of clips and me knowing and loving the talents because of it.
Sadly Holostars clips never got recommended to me to actually know them or have an interest on them. I always wanted to get into the boys but I never knew where to start. It doesn't help that the only members I followed were people that graduated.

I don't really mind the idea that much, but it does leave a bad taste in my mouth that Cover is doing this when the boys are just finally getting some extra attention on themselves but still lacking in some areas, I would rather they continue reinforcing the JP side before going into the EN side, especially with how the general Holo EOP fanbase has treated the Stars generally speaking.
Plus seeing how Luxiem turned out... I'm more than wary about a Stars EN and the fans they would attract.

I don't really enjoy the idea, but if Cover plans on making them similar to the other branches (entertainers + singers) then it may filter a bunch of bad apples from the get-go. Hololive fans don't watch or don't care about Holostars and it's been this way since time immemorial. An EN male branch isn't going to change their attitude. The idea alone I don't mind, it's the execution that worries me. I don't want them to be violently gay like the nijis, I don't want them to be a bunch of annoying zoomers, I don't want them to collab with the girls too much, more or less I want them to be almost the same as if the jp guys learned english. That I wouldn't have a problem with. That said, I would prefer if they really really really take their time with the auditions getting the best of the best and simply spend the time and money on the jp stars to they're more popular with jp, I don't want them forgotten.

I never wanted an EN branch and I will never want one, but it was inevitable and it's clear they're being more aggressive with the audition applications after recent events. My primary concern has always been for them to gain a stronger local presence and this is certainly not going to help with that. Still, I'm not going to anti the guys but my interest is non-existent. My wish is for whatever audience they garner to not spill over the JP boys' side, whether they're well behaved or not, lest they scare away more Japanese viewers.
The only way I'll seriously hate any of the EN guys is if they say "my oshi is from Myth/Council" on their debut, start with the "but don't clip it, teehee! Don't tell her!" bullshit, and overall show no interest on their senpai. Other than that, my feelings towards them will be of indifference.

I'm a bit unsure desu, mostly because I feel the Holostars JP's position is still a bit too shaky and an EN branch doesn't seem to me like it will help them much, especially since EOPs have pretty much made it clear they only want StarsEN just to have males they can understand and shit on idolfags and that shit, not because they care about the boys, and I doubt that would change ever at this point.
Not to mention with Luxiem being the way it is, it worries me that Cover will try to go that way with StarsEN too in an attempt to capture that audience (audience that, well, you have seen it I'm sure) plus I'm a bit unsure if I share the desire for them to place a ton of focus on being "idols" like the current Stars or being "just like the current Stars".
Not to mention that Cover being Cover, I fear they will screw up their debut and start like they screwed up the JP Stars.
