When you look back on the Holiday with Kiara you can also see hints of pushing her selfishness onto other people too. She made Kiara go into an Onsen naked and go Skiing (which nearly lead to an accident), both are things that Kiara was vocally uncomfortable about doing and likely forced onto her.

The reason people are beginning to hate Mori is because her behavior the last few months have changed the context of her past actions. All the things she did in the past that could be seen as awkwardness and a result of overworking are now being seen as selfishness and alcoholic behavior, she seems mostly uninterested in genuinely improving her flaws or working towards integrating herself with the company anymore than she has to.
The minute she faced serious backlash she began to make moves to transitioning to her roommate account and she constantly undermines Cover by framing all the things Japanese law and policy restricts her from doing as being Cover's fault. Even before learning the full details about Rushia, she tweeted a heated statement that can only be indicting of Cover.

I was expecting her to get more comfortable on stream as time went on, but her way of talking is too outdated and awkward to me to enjoy watching, not to mention it's even more grating when she flips on her forced anime dub voice for whatever reason. Yeah, that's literally what I did before. I didn't like her so I didn't watch her. And I was believing that Calli had changed especially when every was saying Calli was much better, Calli 2.0 or whatever they called it. But then, taking a SuperChat bait, NTR bait, Lean, Fun, and other yabs really just showed that she hasn't changed for the better at all. And that's where I think a lot of the hate is coming from. A disappointing amount of effort from Calli to fit into Hololive. I thought she was going to do more music content other than rap. I know she did some mixing streams but I was expecting more and for her to either learn with her fans or teach, but I was disappointed.

I actually had a lot of respect for her when she first started out. I thought she understood the special opportunity she was given being in Hololive. She mentioned in her first TrashTaste collab something along the lines that "putting in a lot of hardwork into something doesn't necessarily mean its good". That really gave me a positive impression of her - very realistic, she will work hard even if it doesn't result in success. I respect that.

She wasn't prepared for many of the streams when she first started out. At first I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but it continued .... Then all the out lash resulted in her infamous 5% statement. That's when it made me dislike Calli and lose all respect. She's not putting in the hardwork in streaming like I thought she would. It also made me realize that she did not like or even respect Hololive for its idol-like and vtubing expectations (idol/otaku culture) or the fans.

Year after the 5%, I thought Calli improved. I didn't watch her because I didn't like her. But there were no more complains or hate towards her. There was even more complements that she has accepted the idol-like and vtubing culture. Many deadbeats and others were saying Calli 2.0 or 2nd season was much better that her rough start. I thought she would be like Subaru and integrate into the culture in a positive way. But then, her recent yabs showed that she hasn't changed at all. And now we are here, where my dislike for grows ever more.
