Nta but to be honest I think BotW is highly overrated. Most people claim how rewarding the open world is, and how much fun the quests are but that is bs. Korok #2434 you find or the quests that rewards you with 300 rupees won't feel rewarding. The cooking also sucks. You can buy multiple ingredients and think of recipes, or you throw 1 max fruit into the pot and you are done. Also I really wished there were real temples in the game. The titan dungeons aren't enough. Playing the master mode is a chore because you burn through your weapons quickly as you try to hit a mob before it starts to replenish its HP.
Still BotW is a great game, and I will pre-order part 2 without a doubt in my mind that it is worth my money.
But Elden Ring is by far the better open-world and the overall better game. While it also has some flaws it is beyond me how people can seriously think BotW is the better game.
With my Xbox setup I have 0 performance issues, I just mean bs like you get summon ashes but have to backtrack to a church without anyone ever telling you and other cryptic bs.
I have not finished Elden Ring yet, only beat the 2nd legacy dungeon so far. But critics think Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 is the better game so there you go.

I've been doing basically a pure str build to just swing my Greatsword around, str works fine you just have to play smarter as you will be punished if you make bad plays. The upside being there are quite a few bosses who just get stun locked by get smacked around the head by said Greatsword (or any other colossal weapon really.)

None of these Souls games are really super hard to be quite honest, you just have to go into the experience prepared to see YOU DIED in big red letters pretty often and accept that you might lose your wallet that has your XP and money in it if you get too careless.
