Unlikely. There are 2 cases where he could realistically sue her. First is if there was any evidence that she let that message display intentionally, which would imply malicious intent on her part. Alternatively, if there was some sort of contract between them, he could sue her for breach. Could be business, could be marriage or common law if Japan has that. Neither case seems likely to me.

Now Cover Corp could definitely sue her for breach of contract. I'm not sure how likely this is for a Japanese company but considering we're talking about a contract worth millions USD here, if Cover was American, it would be strange for them not to try and recoup some of the lost revenue they were counting on from her contract.
