IRyS is a comedian first and a singer second and whether that is her fault or Cover's fault doesn't matter. That is how she established herself.

I've been saying all along that she needs a big hit to hook the algorithm. Something like a FOTM vocaloid cover or a One Last Kiss cover. The reason people like the Yabairys thing so much is because that is what hooks them. They don't care about original music that they have no connection with.

Scrolled through my entire list and I didn't get a single song on the actual IRyS channel. The only IRyS song I got was the Here Comes Hope topic version.
What I did get were tons of clips, IRyS streams, and Bae's song. This tells you that people watching IRyS are primarily in it because she is a funny dork. She has multiple dedicated clippers and they actually get very good viewership. People think of her as a comedian first and a singer second (if at all).

That isn't necassarily a bad thing. Her streams are quite popular and she gets solid viewership. Its not like she is Sora or AZKi who get low viewership on both. However, if you want to see IRyS' music do better something has to change. Her songs are being completely ignored by the algorithm. Funnily enough the #1 recommended was Q and, surprise surprise, it has massive viewership.
