I was in the old server briefly but didn't stick around, it didn't feel like an ASMRtists server at all. Nobody talked about her there, just memes and shitposts. She barely spoke when I was there which was likely shortly before it was deleted. Super edgy, long-standing members bullying new ones etc. From the post it seems she didn't like the attitude of the place. I've heard anons say some of her schizos are they ones from that server that didn't like her deleting it and creating somewhere a lot more friendly to her audience.

She's talked about having a very edgy phase before, wouldn't surprise me if at some point she thought the newbie hazing was funny. I just can't imagine her as the malicious type so she probably just thought it was silly and fun, and at some point she decided she wanted to take content creation more seriously and respect her viewers a lot more or the bullying just got out of hand. Pretty normal for attitudes to change as you grow up, she's talked about content creation supporting her entire family so her taking it much more seriously and professionally than she did as a dumb kid makes a lot of sense to me.
I've dug through the archives and her stuff back then was mostly just edgy bullshit and not real ASMR. She obviously puts a lot of work and love into every video now.

Absolutely. In one of her long pre stream zatsus last month (I think) I even remember her ranting about fans who talk about "The old Fallenshadow". She mentioned off hand that she has old fans that talk about how creative she was back then and she basically straight up said it was all just whatever edgy bullshit that came to her mind and that she really didn't care about half of it at all and just shit out whatever. Then went on about how much more seriously she takes what she does now and the actual passion put in to it.
Like I was an edgy little shit who thought I was cool as fuck in my late teens too. At least Shondo has the insight to see her own growth and progress as a creator and further that when there's people that follow her that are probably fuckin quite a bit older than her and don't seem to grow a bit.
