i read on /t/ that lytexx deleted all of his torrents from nyaa. many of the earlier half of the torrents on the gawrchive list are his releases. these are mainly karaoke streams, which i never had to worry about posting myself, because he always released good quality recordings quickly back when he was still posting torrents. i think that these torrents are no longer tracked by nyaa's bittorrent tracker.

however, when i originally created the torrent list (back when it was a crappy pastebin), i rewrote all the magnet links to use the same tracker list that i use for my own releases. so, losing the nyaa tracker shouldn't affect the swarms at all. even though they are no longer on nyaa, the same data is still being tracked by the newtrackon list that i use, and my seedbox is still serving all of them. i checked all of them recently, though, and in a few cases, i appear to be the only seed with my two IPs serving the data.

i know that i'm not the only one here who has a complete archive, so the data itself is likely not at risk even if i disappear. because we lost all the nyaa-only peers on many torrents, though, this might be a good time to add torrents to your bittorrent seeding infrastructure if you have some available. i also recently posted a second source for the 2020-09-30 karaoke, which is my youtube-dl recording that has the same amount of content as the most commonly-circulated release, but is missing different stuff during the part of the stream that had a youtube issue.

I feel like such a fucking piece of shit right now. I was annoyed by yet another extended break with no communication today. Meanwhile, Gura herself probably didn't find out about Rushia until the past couple days. Then she had to process that and probably attend one or more last minute meetings regarding breaches of contract while she was supposed to be taking her normal days off. No matter how you look at it, that's stressful shit that resulted in yet another sempai graduating before they could ever properly collaborate. This happening less than a year after Coco said goodbye, and right before HoloFest nonetheless.

And here I was feeling bummed because I didn't get my Gura fix today like some jackass.

Anyone's oshi can be ripped away in an instant for any given reason. Right now, all I want to hear from Gura is that she's handling recent events okay. I hope she streams ASAP, but I want her to be in a good place when she does.
