The lie was the yab, at least part of it. If she had just explained she accidentally joined a discord channel right there and then I really doubt it would have exploded into such a big deal.
Even during her latest Apex, she accidentally left VC turned on and there was some random at the start of the round, she just reacted with "huh, what's that noise? Is it voice chat? Let me mute it...", if she just reacted like that, I really doubt there would have been as much of an issue as there was. Nobody can blame her for reacting the way she did, she was obviously panicked and didn't have the experience she does now, but what really matters is how she handled it afterwards. She properly explained her side of the situation, apologized for being unprofessional, and took the break she needed. Yes it still ended up impacting her a lot, but it obviously wasn't career ending.

What I meant is that Towa had her yab, made a mistake by lying, but then didn't make anything worse by keeping quiet afterwards. She didn't handle it perfectly, but she survived. Rushia did the same thing, but kept adding more fuel to the fire. Faced with basically the same scenario, Twap survived. That's all I was trying to say.
