It depends on their frequency and what you intend the reader to feel. Ask yourself why you're putting it in! If your intention is to illustrate an intense sex binge, perhaps representative of extreme physical compatibility between people, or a spiral out of control into hedonism, then multiple, shorter and potentially nondescript sex scenes might be a better option.
Do you intend for the reader to whack off? It'll need to be longer, then, and focus greatly on the sensuous aspect of the experience.
Is it the beautiful culmination of a relationship? Focus more on the emotional connection and make it shorter to avoid providing unneeded sexual stimulus to the reader.

There's no set amount of words.

depends on what kind of "feel" you're going for in the scene. Is it a pump and dump? Is it a sensual exploration of each other's bodies? How many nuts are ya bustin? I personally don't think there's a "right" length of how long a sex scene should go, it really is up to your own instincts and writing skills.

Like the other anons said it's not about length but about what you want to accomplish with the scene. Use your own instincts and judgement here, don't try to artificially inflate a scene with words because you think a sex scene should be bigger. Think about what you're trying to accomplish with that scene then see if what you've written fulfills what you want.
Afterwards comes the work of editing it to make it work better and make the scene work for the story you have in mind.

Just in general, you can massively improve your writing process simply by asking WHY you're writing a certain scene; what do you intend for the reader to feel, what purpose does this event serve? Is it necessary?
If you're just writing aimlessly you might find that you're adding a lot of superfluous bullshit, or that your scenes are recounts of the scenes playing out in your mind and don't take the reader's emotions into account at all.
Remember, writing a story may be a hobby for yourself, but the end product is a service to the reader. In order to produce a better product, you must write with the reader in mind, rather than freestyling a daydream you had the other day.

This really made me think. I guess I'm not meant to write smut, which I already knew. It's hard for me to get turned on by just words, I lack the patience to formulate the concept of the sex in my head as read. So when I write I'm not thinking about how hot is it to read. I was very passionate writing chapter one of the story, but now I'm halfway through chapter two at the start of the second sex scene, I'm starting to lose direction, or maybe I'm stuck at a block trying to wrap up the act. You should write a short little story while jerking off, purely smut if you can, with like 100-200 words of setup and then go full speed ahead. That kinda stuff is really good for seeing if it's your knack or not. When jerking off you'll be constantly picturing what will come next, or at least what you want to see next, and then the hardest part is letting go off your cock to type out the words before resuming.

NTA, but this seems like a problem. Take a break from doujins, hentai, porn, etc, and see if this remains the same. Desensitisation to sexual stimulus will come back to bite you, and will cause all manner of problems for a long term relationship.
Even ignoring the above, what's in your head is always the best. You can visualise absolutely any scenario in any level of detail, rather than restricting yourself to what others have made. Doujins/hentai/smut should be exclusively for inspiration.

Might be a little weird due to the stuff happening but I hope you all still enjoy it. Like always, tell me what you think, what you like, what you didn't, scenes that stood out to you, if there's anything weird going on with the writing, or just whatever pops up in your head after reading.

Honestly, I wanted to split this into two chapters with the first one ending before the time skip but then it would feel like nothing really happened in the first part and there would be no "hook" to the story. That being said, this also ends right when the "hook" happens so I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. Also sorry about the OCs if that bothered you, I realized that due to the nature of the story, the Holostars couldn't really be a part of the main story (as of now at least) and I still needed some male friends for (you) cause it would be pretty weird if you were in high school and all your friends are girls

I presume that the following chapters will be slice of life/romance focused now that everyone's in the "real" world and they're all normal humans.
Or maybe you were hinting at them merely "sealing" their powers until they're needed, given that (you) can still hear that mysterious voice in your head.
Either way I look forward to where you take this story.
I do have a gripe with it, which is that right now you've skipped all the relationship buildup and jumped straight into all of them already being in a relationship. I understand that the beggining of the story is supposed to be the setup and you couldn't exactly have 5 chapter zeros or something to establish every relationship and then going "Ok now finally here's chapter 1" and that cramming all that relationship development into chapter 1 would bloat it to an insane degree. But it does dampen the impact of (you) leaving them and them finding (you) again. I hope that following chapters have flashbacks or something like it so the audience can see why they love each other and how they got to that point. It would also make the first half of chapter 1 hit harder on re-reads.
I also reallly like the detail that anon's mom and Mumei aren't related to him by saying that his dad remarried. It's a very good way of making a character with an established appearance into a relative while letting the audience imagine anon looking like however they want.

Honestly in regards to chapter splitting I think it was the right call, ending it at the first 'hook' would have set up the wrong expectations for any following chapters, while this 'hook' does seem to set up the following chapters to be romance/harem stuff.
In regards to the story itself. I fucking love it, it's the exact kind of dumb unironic setup for romcom stuff that I'm a sucker for.
In regards to structure, while going at it chronologically like this is probably the easiest way to establish everything in one chapter in both the thinking of planning it and the actually writing it sense. It does suffer a bit in regards to having this first chapter shoulder all the weight of the setup. Still it does free up the other chapters to be what you want them to be since now it's all nice and setup. Perhaps there are better ways but for something that I'm guessing your planning to release serially it does make it so that future stuff you release can be self contained as it were without having to linger on questions about the set up.
Also I do hope you have plans for future chapters, I really did enjoy reading this and would love to see where you go with this.
God I hope nothing happens to Rushia irl, would make it really fucking awkward for both the reader and the writer in regards to fanfiction like this.

I really like the concept of 'after the isekai'. I haven't really seen it been explored in any other media and it lends it's self well to slice of life. I also really like how you established anon's relationships with friends and family, it felt lively and engaging, there was never a dull moment. However I do kinda wish you explored more of anon's return to the real world, his and the people around him adjustment to it but I also understand that's not the main focus of the story. Besides I think you did do a good job with the reunion with his family; made me feel a little emotional.

Overall it reminded of feeling of excitement I used to feel when watching romance/harem anime I used watch when I first started watching anime and I love it. I can't wait for the next chapter. Great job anon.
