After Tvee had turned her into a sandwich and eaten her as a subscriber's bonus during a Thanksgiving stream, Pippa’s fans were disappointed to learn that the digestion process had rendered the spell irreversible. Pippa would be a lump of poop forever. This wouldn't be all that big of a deal to the fans, but Pippa kept whining and crying about it, and she smelled so bad that she was unbearable to be around.

It didn't take long for Pippa's boyfriend to decide to seal her in a glass jar to minimize the smell, and muffle Pippa's interminable whining about her new poop existence. Unfortunately, she quickly began whining even louder, which gave her boyfriend a perfect idea.
"I think it's time for you to go back to work," Pippa's boyfriend said.
"My job is streaming for Phase! How am I supposed to do that after Tvee turned me into poop?" Pippa angrily demanded.
"Would you let that go? He didn't mean to. Anyway, I'm sure they'll find something for you to do. I'm going to mail you to them."
"My fellow idols can't see me like this! It's too humiliating! Please, let me stay here with you!"
"No." He ignored all of Pippa's objections as he stuffed her jar in a cardboard box and mailed her to her workplace, located 500 miles away from him. He was so glad to be rid of the whiny turd.

Now, Pippa's life is misery. All of her genmates spend all day sneeding at her and her disgusting new poop body. They shake her around in her jar, painfully splattering her against the glass walls, they call her cruel names, and they threaten to flush her down the toilet where turds like her belong.
All Pippa can do is cry and nostalgically remember her former life as a useless neet. But now she is just a disgusting turd in a jar, and that's all she'll ever be again. At least Pippa’s co-workers are enjoying their new company mascot.

You use [shares a roommate with] as a point of association that allows something off-topic to become on-topic, but this falls apart once you start applying it to other things. For example:
