I'm looking it up now, so far it only mentions exporting the other way around and importing items. The latter might be good enough because some items can have rigging and can be posed which is good enough (like that untitled goose game model). Basically the difference is it can't be used in the actual game but it can be used in CharaStudio which is the one that matters.
