Take this with a grain of salt since anyone can make up anything on the internet, but there was an anon in /nijiEN/ who said he applied with no stream experience but a lot of live performance experience (i.e. he provided a video of himself performing in a live band in front of 400+ people). He got rejected, but was told he should apply again if he could consistently stream to an audience of like, 15+ people.
I think that makes sense, since consistently streaming is a pretty different skillset, and they definitely wouldn't want someone who decides in a month that streaming isn't for him. Maybe when the branch is more developed, they can start taking long shots, but right now it seems like they want safe bets.

I don't think 15 viewers is very difficult to achieve. People really overrate how hard it is to be a successful indie. I used to stream on Twitch and would pull 20-30 viewers just playing random games with an inconsistent schedule just because I was playing shit other people didn't stream. The hard part is streaming consistently for multiple months but achieving a decent following on Twitch is quite easy if you have any kind of charisma or personality.

It does make sense they don't wanna hire someone unpredictable or inexperienced for EN though. They didn't care about that requirement for the other branches because they were managed locally meaning they could get physical training and have in-person interviews. EN is managed remotely so they have to be more careful hiring only people who don't need to be babysat.
