Honestly, the nice thing about ManjisanjiEN seeing this kind of success is that it's basically a form of false competition. It creates the illusion for both companies that the EN market is highly competitive and that they both need to reasonably invest in and direct their talent rather than simply sitting back on their laurels, even when the reality is that the viewerships for HoloEN and Luxiem/Noctyx are almost entirely independent of one another.

I'd hope that the market "growing" results in a more competitive mindset for the EN branches without the negative consequence of either company even having to cannibalize one another in the process.

You can be very successful with music while streaming, just look at Mori. The biggest problem IRyS has so far is a combo of not doing covers to gain algorithm traction, having key songs early on be on the HoloEN channel rather than her personal channel further hurting her chances of getting picked up by the algorithm, and her originals all being fairly average corporate pop fare with either Japanese lyrics or English lyrics that were clearly written by Japanese writers.

You have to look outside of Holo/Vshojo/Niji and remember that averaging 10 viewers on Twitch already puts you in the 95th percentile on that platform. We already went through this when Luca opened his membership and said he got almost 2k at the start of the stream, but the chatlog only had 1k new members. This was because he opened his membership hours before the "membership opening" stream.
