While it provides more variety, corpos chuubas fans usually want to follow all the chuubas in a company. The company's resources are limited and more members means more chuubas are getting left behind. The talent pool isn't endless so the more chuubas the more likely some talentless idiot gets in and that your oshi have to start collabing in corpo mandated collabos with that idiot.
Also the pool of new potential viewers isn't endless either so to some point they end up cannibalizing each other and then your oshi is less likely to sucess and live a good life because of it.
There's a lot of Niji JP chuubas that don't get to even 1k viewers.
And finally the more waves in, the less organic all the process of getting a fanbase looks and the more looks like a factory line for consoomers to get a new shiny toy every 4 months which for me sounds a bit exploitative and inhumane.

I am all for smaller corps growing. Non-Holo vtuber ecosystem is good for Nijisanji. It's pretty clear that PRISM and Kawaii won't be the ones making it just like Tsunderia before though. Shiki and Luto didn't boost PRISM enough and are now stagnant themselves.
