The host gives the participant an object to rate, then two choices (A and B) for its rating. For example, a fried chicken and whether it is rated (A) cooked by a pro-chef or (B) cooked by a home cooked. The participants choose accordingly, then gain points.

Pretty much, the vtuber boom has long since passed, anyone expecting any sort of explosive growth nowadays is pretty delusional, especially for a brand as weak as Holostars', even bigger, stronger brands struggle to go past a certain point, it's gonna take more effort to really advance things futher from now on.
A show like StarColle will help a little but not much outside of the very begginning as, being honest, most of the people watching it will be pre-existing fans of the boys, so outside of the initial boost as the hype of it starting begins, any futher boost will be slower and smaller.

CS isn't popular in Japan, the last BF and CoD are laughably bad, Siege is dying and Overwatch is pretty much dead.
