I don't have any tricks up my sleeve left, it would seem, since you can completely recreate my strategy and reasoning at this point, I'm pretty sure. In my trading, I rely solely on good fundamentals and confidence in my models/trade evaluation methods which is why I figured that I will eventually be surpassed on the Returns Report's trading section. So, should you have an open wallet, I expect to see you at the top or near it of the Returns Report soon, Due Diligence Fandead, especially with both of the deadbeats tanking hard this week due to the '10x' incident.
The strangest thing about the idea you talk about is that I discussed it previously in the thread anonymously and no one picked it up, people saying that it wasn't useful. It has been several months and I knew of only one other person who has arrived at it, and now I can say that there are two, congratulations.

Regarding sharing things publicly: For me, the main fun I've had with the game is trying to figure out what works and what doesn't, what makes the market tick and how to maximize profits and (most importantly) long-term returns on dividends. This has kept me entertained even throughout the content drought around Fall. I don't want to spoonfeed people directly and thus spoil people's fun if they enjoy the game in the same way I do, but I also don't want to stay silent and keep everything behind closed doors. This is why the Returns Report is public, so people can evaluate and adapt their performance and strategy.

I also value the thread. A lot. I know that just saying this doesn't prove that it's true, but I hope that my actions do speak for themselves. As I said -- anything I'd say there I wouldn't have posted here. If you decide to go through with it (I'm leaving the logistics to you), feel free to contact me, if you don't want to, don't feel comfortable doing so, or think it'd be a detriment to the thread, that's also fine.

Ina doesn't have to spike tomorrow for you to profit. By buying into her and holding her for one dividends, you're missing out on maybe 500-700$ in divvies compared to buying Hololive (at current prices, you can buy 3 Ina for the price of 1 Holo), which I don't think is a massive trade-off.

If I may offer my two cents,

I personally believe $INA is a lot better deal right now. Sure, $HOLO has better dividend payout but $HOLO is also approaching it's all time high price that is not due to an adjustment spike. $INA on the other hand is still below what I would think of as her normal price, and people are still buying her. Her price probably doesn't have to rise by much more than 2.5k by tomorrow for her to have given you higher profits over just the $HOLO dividends. Since the market is trending upwards and since the coin price inflation seems to be accelerating, $INA may very well go the way of $TOWA achieve a new normal price at around 20k.

Also what >>18636479 said, an average top 200 wallet should already hold enough $HOLO to sell any spike, while most wallets do not hold enough $INA to begin with, let alone now after her price has been riding a peak for almost a week.

I checked it semi-recently, after the multicoin update rolled out. I believe that the inflation is roughly two times quicker now. Not completely out of control, but definitely significant enough of a change to notice.
Inflation only becomes an issue in regards to trading when selling is discouraged due to how quickly a coin price rises - in other words, where holding a coin passively will likely bring greater profit than actively trading it outside of short periods near adjustments.

I think a big factor that is keeping inflation in check are taxes. There is no taxes on 1x sell so you can sell even small dips, and the 1x buy tax discourages people from buying every single coin to pre-adjustement price and higher.

I'd wager that a large part of what keeps the prices in check is overbought... if it's still active. I assume it is active, given that prices are repeatedly pummeled down compared to where they 'should' be given the amount of coins bought from money appearing from thin air (via dividends or trading).
There is another possibility, and one that I can't really verify right now sadly since I lack the data for it -- and that is that together with multicoin, transaction coin volatility was upped, resulting in larger price inflation due to buying.
You could try to infer it if you assess inflation from pre-10x and post-10x times, as well as coin volume changes.

I think overbought is still active, but most of the time it just makes the prices crab and not plummet down. I don't know how much you'd need to buy up a coin to trigger a bigger instace of overbought than just crabbing.

This is what I had assumed for several months now, it is subtle and you can reasonably see it affecting the whole market over time (it's hard to spot on individual coins), although the devs have been known to stealth-tweak the market parameters so I wouldn't take this for granted. I'd say maybe a mixture of overall average adjustment, taken on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, with also the average price changes over time of the market should give you a good view on the affect of overbought and any other changes on the market. This should also answer some questions about volatility and inflation, but I'm not so sure about it so don't take what I say too seriously.

I think for that you'd need to look at the trends in adjustment % direction over time, or maybe also tie it to coin volume somehow to test if the increased inflation correlates to more 'buy' transactions being made.

You're right, probably using percentages is the best ways to see how overbought affects the market. Furthermore, I think that overbought is also affected by views and subticks, this way it prevents people from mindlessly pumping a coin and doesn't override a moon in case of a big event.
