Cover as a whole is reclining. They lost one of their largest moneymakers due to controversy and may lose another to it. Their competition overseas is growing. Fearing the shareholders wrath, they do what every corporation does, tell everyone everything is okay to try and hide the giant elephant in the room. Their efforts to brainstorm ideas to make more money (more outfits! lets rush to make EN 3d!) neglects the needs of the actual moneymakers of the company - the girls. Corporate will always be the last people to lay themselves off. Production must increase! People are leaving? Don't worry, we're a big name so people will chomp at the bit at our job openings!
The JPs know each other from meeting irl so they have a support system stronger than Myth, so it hits them harder, not to mention the rushed 3d. Seeing the writing on the wall, the FUD of the behind the scenes desperation of the company leads to cynicism of some of the girls, compounded by personal or other work related stress, perpetuating the cycle. Fearing another talent quitting, they give one a very loose leash so she doesn't leave.

I dunno, I'm just not feeling the business model here. Ame's role in organizing the 3D collabs thus far have all been pretty much the consumer side, not the business side. She told the artists what she wants and paid them for it. There's nothing that she does for this that would make her role vital or even easier in the process. It'd be like acting as a middleman between art commissions, but without providing the payment processing, webpage, etc. of the art commission websites.
