Luxiem are very open with letting fans draw nsfw and explicit ship art without having to hide it. Hard to say. The indie path is a high risk, high reward kind of gamble. It can lead to a bigger growth than being a Star, but it's definitely not guaranteed. They might've reached the conclusion that joining any agency for the safety nets it gives you is better than betting on the indie life. Also, if this is NijiJP then they might be rejects, or just tired of waiting for replies since the debut of new JP gens has slowed down considerably. If it's HoloEN then they're probably outside of Elira's friends group or they're Hololive fanboys, which is concerning.
