I should tell you that any big Japanese company that is also involved with global operations outside of Japan really *really* push for someone who's a local but can also speak fluent to perfect English. These people would usually come from Japanese who studied or had plenty of experience abroad, but as that anon mentioned, people who have the skills they need and the ability to speak English at a high enough level know that Japanese companies are willing to pay premium for them. The company is doubly screwed if they want to go for the lowest bidder because then the only people who'd be interested are those who are willing to forego their premium status, most likely because they've got some weird baggage or skeletons in their closets.

I've not watched much Hololive in the past year, but one thing I've liked about some of the EN small corpos and NijiEN is that their talents will sometimes talk about how their managers and staff will actually make good comments about their streams and tell them what their favorite moments were. Some of them even talk about how they have casual chats and banter with their managers during down time, or even play games and watch shows with them.
Small things like that can help management feel more human and easier to work with, and it'd be great if the HoloEN girls could be on that level with their management as well.
