I'm happy to see she's alive, but I don't think we should let her off the hook too easy. As Sanallites, we really should try to point out things she could do better, like posting on socials more regularly, and encouraging her to do more work stream zatsus like her Members' stream. If managers don't encourage this then it's up to us. Every hiatus at this point really hurts her channel longterm compared to the other girls.

What is the best way you think we should try to send her advice? Are SCs the best way? I think she'll take good advice to heart if she knows we're coming with genuine concern. She might not understand just how much her social presence falls off a cliff when she goes dark, but she might also not realize how easily she can avoid that with just a few extra minutes of commitment each week.

I don't know if it's roommate activity or not, but I cancelled my membership. I've loved watching her ever since her debut because of her energy and humor (Celeste, Rhythm Heaven, Holoscopes, and WarioWare are top tier,) membered her day 1 and loved watching those even more for her honesty and cozy vibes.
I've been willing to give her the benefit of the doubt considering how worried she was in her first few members streams about giving us fun consistent content, but ever since Taco died it feels like her heart isn't in it. Still really like her, still hope for the best for her, but I've done my best to be patient. Will give that membership to one of her frens and continue hoping she eventually streams more frequently.

The best time would be during a non-karaoke membership stream, that way it keeps the public drama low. But she avoids doing those, so a SC during a lull in whatever she's doing would be the next best time. She's mostly fine when she's streaming, but there's definitely some anxiety when she has to press the go live button. It's why she makes vague promises or just doesn't say anything. The best time to get her to think about this is while it's still an ant hill. If she keeps up this pattern of anti-social tendencies, while being part of a major social platform, she'll only build a mountain of anxiety for herself around streaming.
I think she already knows what she needs to do differently if she wants to improve, it's basic content creator stuff, but she might need some outside feedback to feel more proactive about it. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt a little longer and see what her plan is for her next schedules first.

If you're genuine about this feedback thing, then leaving a SC is just going to be counterintuitive and disruptive.
SC is extremely limited character-wise, so you're not going to convey your concerns at all, more likely you'll have your concerns abated by the yesmen of chat and the show will go on, you'll be left seething. Or worse, chat will agree and then from her perspective a short message was enough to make a mob out of her audience and takes things to an extreme when trying to take it in.

Just leave a YT comment. Every single Holo has stated they look at their youtube comments for feedback and Sana doesn't get a ton to begin with and you have much more room to provide constructive feedback.

The presumptuous and possessive behavior of some fans is exactly the sort of shit that validates the narratives that members hate their audience, so if you're dead set on giving a SC, don't act like she owes you anything or how she should manage her time. Like you said, she probably knows exactly what she could be doing better. However, I do member to support her goals as a streamer. That is, trying new things, exploring her other talents, and engaging with more people. I think it's justified to an extent.
1. Have new, exciting fun streamer
2. Genuinely unfortunate event happens, she takes time off.
3. Comes back and everything looks good for a bit.
4. Christmas time, less streams, understandable since people have lives.
5. Then silence except for one stream every two weeks.

I've watched a few Sana streams even if I've never played the games she ever streams. It definitely is annoying that this two way street only has one side walking down it.

But we'll see after this stream and what happens. She's talking about the work she's doing and focus etc. That explains things but I'm not sure if justifies what's going on. It could purely be lip service. Part of a good streamer's skillset is to manage their own workload. Then again, Cover doesn't seem to have that much of an issue with it so maybe its alright.

I think Sana knows what's up as well but sometimes it can definitely be hard to break out of a bad habit. So while I'm less excited about Sana nowadays, I'm looking forward to seeing if she can turn it around.

See, that's why it's good to send her the feedback and encouragement. She's obviously still not used to keeping public engagement outside of work, and she's the kind of person that needs prods and reminders to help her build new habits. It's not unusual, especially in her field, and it's too bad it seems like the managers don't help more with that.

I'm glad she's noticing that getting these things of her chest in stream can work for her. If she does the siesta streams too that could be really helpful too. She needs to think of streaming as stress relieving in more ways than just games so the community engagement is comfy and doesn't feel like work. Mumei picked up on this a little while ago, doing streams of just random rants and mumblings, and you can see it really boosted her channel's engagement from what it was at the start.

It's unironically a fantastic trait for an art contractor, and probably a big part of why she managed to impress so many Japanese corpos into hiring her. She just needs to take that same work ethic she's established for her art career and apply it to other things.

It's why she still has a lot of growth potential and probably a big part of how she made it to Hololive. They just have to put up with the double-edged sword of her needing more time to find her rhythm while still meeting deadlines.

As long as she's seriously committed to doing better, I will support her.

She might actually be better off with a dog. Dogs can sometimes help you take a step back from what you're doing. Taking good care of an animal can also remind you sometimes that you need to take care of yourself.

Since she grew up with a dog, it's possible she didn't realize how much it helped her with her daily schedule until she finally moved away and settled into different habits.

As a drawfag i always got super happy when people did fanart of one of my character regardless of the quality. Idk if it goes to the same extension to sana since she technically didn't design herself but im sure she will appreciate regardless
About not being noticed, it just something you gotta learn to deal with, i remember i think 3 months ago i did my most complicated digital drawing and it got at most what 16 likes? It kinda sucks but you will get more people seeing you with time
